This used to be such a lovely place to come and get support. Too bad the wive's and SO's section has all but dried up and blown away. I watch everyday to see if anyone comes in here and so far since I went into lurk mode, no one has written. It's sad but true. I just needed to say that I miss this group and what it once was.

Curly and Honey reported in and Sharon said she's winding down her summer. So things should be jumping again real soon.

I think when you went into lurk mode things did kind of plummet with SOs, but I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you posting! Jassmine has been a constant for us, but she's been helping out the CD'rs in the CD and welcoming people in the New Members section not so much in the SO section. If she had she'd have been alone for a few weeks.

Perhaps, this is the start of our end of summer season.

It's good to see that I wasn't the only one lurking about! And yes, I've miss ya'll too. Thanks Beauty for the warm words. I'll try to think of a good topic to get us all going over the weekend. There's been alot going on in my neck of the woods so plenty to write about but I've got to get the twins off to school! Thanks for piping up and letting me know there is still life here!

I've been lurking about too I have been posting on the forum, but as you've noticed, not in the SO's section, not for any particular reason, just that I haven't had much time lately. I'm trying to keep my kids busy, wait a minute ........they are keeping me busy

I've been just trying to jam as much into this summer as I could
My family and I have been going on several trips this summer ( we all drove down to Disney world [from NJ]) and I've also been trying to get some outside (house) things done (winters are just too cold here for me) and one project always seems to lead to another

This weekend my older son is going on a vacation with his friend/and family
Our younger son is going to spend an overnight with his Aunt
So, my husband and I decided to take ( a well deserved...after all of us driving to Florida) this weekend and to spend some "alone time" together (a nice romantic weekend, just the two of us ) .......in Atlantic City

The week after Labor Day, our children are "Back to School"........which gives me more "free time" (once they are settled into school)

I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!

You "GG's" are pure gold for this forum!! I hope that you are able to get back to more active posting as I consider it "required reading."

I hope that SO activity will pick up soon now that vacations are ending and school is starting.

My youngest sister in law has 2 boys and one will be moving into his freshman dorm an hour away from me, and the other will returning for his last undergrad year soon after near Boston, Mass.

I'm looking forward to more postings by the GGs.
