A year ago my so came out to me. I have tried to be as supportive as i know how. They are my life. I wish to gind out more so as to help them better. And to discover more about trans issues and struggles. This forum was recommended to me by a member i know in person and i must say it is very helpful. I look forward to learning more!

Hi Verra, aboard!

First of all welcome to the forum. I applaud you willingness to learn more about your SO's desire to crossdress and can assure you that you will find in here many who are willing and able to give you advice. A good place for you to express your concerns and questions is in the chat room. There you will find many who have traveled this road and are at different points on the journey of crossdressing and will help you with advice and answers to your questions.

In the chat room you can ask any question you might have and be guided to either a link or a previous post on the subject to help you better understand what drives us. But I will tell you this, this desire is not something we chose, it is ingrained in us and will not go away ..... ever. It can be a blessing or a curse in a relationship depending on your level of acceptance but be assured his intention is not to hurt you or cause you pain but just a part of him that he can't ignore.

Once again I commend you in your effort to try and understand his crossdressing and hope you will take advantage of the knowledge of the girls in here, both GG's and CD'ers.

Welcome, Verra. I hope that you are successful in finding what you are looking for and that this webpage, which I just recently joined, as well, will be helpful to you in that pursuit. If your situation is anything like my wife's and mine, I'd suspect that your SO coming out to you, I suppose as a crossdresser, was probably one of the emotionally toughest things is his life for him. Responding as you have was probably one of the most emotionally healing things in his life, as well.

Again, welcome! Now I must get back to seeing to it that my wife, who is in town for the day doing whatever she wants, returns to find her condo spotless, the dishes clean and the laundry done and ironed.
