Call me Willy. This is a new experience for me. I've been a closet CD for a long time - a real long time. Now coming out bit by bit. My S/O is very understanding - indeed supportive. I am learning just by reading the mail. I'll be hopping in from time to time.

Wow -- I am overwhelmed with the friendly replies. For many years I thought I was the only one with "strange" desires, and my wife (passed away a few years ago) barely tolerated my CD. After living alone for a while, and now blessed with an understanding S/O, I am quite happy and contented.
I have no illusions about my looks. I could probably pass - with enough wig and makeup to look like an old whore. But I'll make do with what I have.
My joining this delightful group is a part of my "coming out." But there is much to learn about the protocol and language.
Thanks again for the welcome. I'll try not to be shy.

Hi Willy,
Great to have you with us, don't you worry a bit about language (unless it's rude

) . There ain't no language and protocol, is there ?
Seriously though, just post whatever feels right and you won't go far wrong.
I too have an understanding SO, sometimes I just don't feel worthy of her.
Love to you and your SO

Hi Willy,
Welcome to the forum!

I hope you'll enjoy yourself here. About protocols, well, there really aren't that many. We try to keep it clean and civil (I know, I know, "clean and civil" is often in the eye of the beholder... but, still.) The main thing is that you feel free to be yourself. This is a wonderful and safe place to do so. Have fun!
If you ever have any questions, look into the FAQ section (at the top of the page) or feel free to send me a Private Message (PM).
Again, welcome!
Love,
CJ

Thanks for the welcome, Kristen. I am far from being anything related to acting. I just got curious and I looked up the word "dress" in my online Shakespeare concordance. The quote below came up, and seemed appropriate.

I don't thinkl I'll bore the group with my history with CD. Actually it will sound much like many that I have read on this and similar forums.
Now I have to think about a suitable avatar for this forum.
