he...I'm of the old school too...fields of the nephilim..the cure..sisters of mercy...the mission.. A bit of punk doesnt go amiss either.. but not crap like good charlotte etc that pretends to be punk, but isnt anything more than pop with a bass player.
I dress gothy...lashings of pvc n velvet...though I do deviate with stuff like mini kilts.

A big welcome to the forum. My daughter sometimes looks a bit gothy, well from where I am looking, she says it's alternative. Then when I met her out one night, she had me moshing in this pit ?
I always thought it was head-banging, Oh dear, I must be starting to show my age.
Did someone mention the stranglers ?
