Hi Danette, thank's for the welcome. I've been C.D..ing for 20 years,
but only using a computer for one, still new to this. How can I get the
info on up-loading a picture of my self? I'm looking for a digital camera
this week, don't have a clue about any of this stuff. Tell me, is it possible
to take a digital picture of a 35MM photo and up load that way.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Charlene.

Yes, you can take a digital camera and take a picture of a picture to upload. You can also scan the 35 mm picture if you have a scanner.

Welcome Charlene,
You will find a wealth of knowledge here and we look forward to hearing more from you - you are very fortunate to live in San Diego. I have been there several times and loved it!!

Hi Charlene Marie, welcome, welcome, welcome, Hope you can find a way to load that picture. Usually done with a scanner, but if you have a camera that has extreme close up it shoud work but quality would be questionable. Glad to have you with us. Kristen

Hi Charlene,
Welcome to the forum. -wel-
I hope you like it.
As stated previously, you can take a digital photo of a 35mm print, but unless the digital has high resolution (3 megapixels or better) and a good zoom, the quality of your pic will suffer. A scan of the pic would be better.
Best of luck uploading your picture. Glad to have you onboard.

Enjoy.

Hugs,
Kyra

Hi Charlene--
It helps to have someone in your area who does house calls on computers. I call my guy every once in a while, when I run into problems.
Knowing he's there gives me incentive to try to work them out on my own, since I've got a fallback position.
Welcome to this forum. There is usually a lot of activity here.
