Teasing Daddy

The sweet young lady, the apple of Daddy's eye, told him she had a new beau.
Daddy, being nobody's fool, and concerned for his daughter asked, " Are you sure this is a person of good character? Is he industrious, is he nice and kind, just what kind of person is he?"
Slightly resenting the slur toward her judgement, Dear daughter replied, with straight face, "Oh yes Daddy. He is smart, hard working, kind, and gentle, especially with his wife and three kiddies".
