A wealthy doctor was having an affair with his Italian nurse.
One day the nurse came to him and informed him she was pregnant and she being a strong Catholic was going to have the baby.
The doctor, not wanting his wife to find out or to suffer any scandel told his nurse that he would pay for her to go home to Italy, have the baby and he would pay all her expenses and those of the child until it was grown and finished its' schooling.
The nurse said, "Well how can I contact you to let you know when the baby has arrived without any chance of your wife finding out?"
The doctor said, " Well when you have the baby just post an envelope to me and on the back write the word 'spaghetti' and I'll know you've had the baby and to start sending you the money, and that way if my wife intercepts the letter she won't know anything about the baby.
Six months later the doctors wife rang him to say that a mysterious letter had arrived and she couldn't make head nor tail of what it meant. The doctor told her that when he came home he'd work out what it was.
Later that evening when he arrived home his wife handed him the envelope and after he turned it over and read the back he promptly fainted and keeled over.
On the back was written the words. ' SPAGHETTI SPAGHETTI SPAGHETTI SPAGHETTI, Two with meatballs two without. '
