Scientists have bred a cannabis that has all the medicinal properties claimed for it, but does not produce the high. Probably will not have the popularity of the various "Golds" though.

By neutralizing the plant's "tetrahydrocannabinol" -- its main psychoactive ingredient -- the scientists were able to develop a plant that can be smoked for medical purposes, without making patients want to laugh, eat a lot or just feel comfortably numb.

I wonder what neutralizing THC means? Seems the THC is the component with medical purposes, so it must not have been removed, just neutralized. Somehow.
