I am having trouble downloading my pictures at both my website and my computer. I keep getting the message 'impossible to move'. Is there a way I can fix it? Thanks!

Hi Kristi,

I'm sure if I can't someone else. :) What exactly are you doing when you try to download? Is this something you've been doing for a while and then it just stopped working?

Hi Beauty-
I've been trying for a while- I had success before, but it doesn't seem to be cooperating this time- I've never seen the error-'Impossible to load' before- They are are jpg.files and should work...

Beauty-

It didn't work- I did look around the net and found this Q and A-

When I try to upload a picture I get the error message Impossible to move somepic.jpg

You should contact the admin of your webhost because usually you can't change the location of the temporary directory for file uploads yourself (it is part of PHP configuration) .
If the open basedir restriction is in effect on your site then the temp directory for file uploads should be one that you can access.

Could this be it?

Hi Kristi,

I only wanted to tell if you could download the program. I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to install it. :(

So you're saying this problem happens when you try to upload? I'll go with that because I think it's what you're saying, but you confirming that would be ultra great. :)

Feels like we're getting closer. :)

That's all I could find too Kristi at http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/faq.php

So it sounds like the admin at Coppermine, if you are using Coppermine, needs to to identify an incorrect folder permission.

This isn't good...

I tried to upload a pic myself and I couldn't...

It kept telling me "0 uploads were successful"... :-k

I tried 5 times with no success...

Can someone else try to upload a picture to the Photo Gallery and let me know if you can...

Thanks,
Sharon

URL Error Message - Impossible to move.

I got “0 uploads were successful,” too. Below, the error message was, “Impossible to move.” I tried using the old DOS representation of the directory where my image is located—i.e., “JAMIEA~1” rather than “Jamie Ann Atl”—and got the very same error message. Thus, the problem is not that the upload utility cannot interpret a directory name containing blanks (which was a problem I had encountered elsewhere). There might be a filter of some kind that somehow has gotten set at a very stringent level.
