It's automatic, depending on the # of posts you've made.

Hi LaDonna,

It was set up a while ago. We decided to remove post count numbers beneath your avatar because we found some newbies would just try to post over and over and over just to get a new title.

We became the venue for one liner responses. It was ok when someone did that occasionally, but all the time became kind of annoying.

You can still see your post count by going to your profile, but we don't promote it or anything. If you have a special title you'd like you can also ask us and we'll create it for you. Ok, ok.. we have to approve it.
