I first donned female attire at age 59.
Wondered if there were any other late bloomers out there.

Great!
I consider myself as a very youthful elder with a youthful spirit!
Speaking of bloomers, whenever I have a chance to wear a large hoop skirt , I have some very lacey satin bloomers in white, pink and yellow for underneath.

Definate late bloomer in the sense that it was after I was well past 55 before I even admitted to myself that I wanted to dress up and act girly. Before then I suppressed the urges strongly. Oh, they leaked out in various unhealthy ways, such as seeking porn.
Don't know if my life would have been different had I 'come out to myself' in my 20's, or before. Probably, but better? That is hard so say.
All told, the total life adventure so far has been pretty amazing. Not willing to wish any of it away.
Kelly.

I cross-dressed with family members' clothes until about 20, and then left home and left all that behind, until age 49. I was glad I didn't have to deal with CDing all those years inbetween. At the same time, I would have been a hot girl in my 20s...it would have gotten me into a lot more trouble, so it's just as well it worked out this way.

My earliest memory of interest in women's clothes is when I was about four, reaching for my cousin's silk kerchief across a low bed, which was up to my armpits.
It is also my earliest memory, period. So, No, not a late bloomer.

At what age to late to start living life the way you feel inside. Age is a number that we define things with. I am 57 about to be 58 just start in the last year to really follow my heart. To be who I feel I am. Don't let age be a hang up.

Started out aged 7, so not a late bloomer that way. I'm a late bloomer in the regard that after my divorce in 2008, I now spend pretty much every day either dressed or under dressed
