I have just bought the most beautiful nightgowns ever!!!! I have a large selection but these are very nice. They are very long, flowing and must be looked after in the correct way. My question is, What is the best way to wash them. I'm very paranoid about just throwing them in the washer cause they are so delicate. I have a lot of other nightgowns that are'nt quite the same as when I bought them due to just throwing them in the washer and hanging them on the line. Any tips? I dont want these gowns to lose their glamour,

Delicate cycle, low heat in the dryer. And like I am always trying to explain to my DH only wash/dry delicates with other delicates, no other abrasive clothing.
I also keep all my delicate nightwear on covered hangers, not wadded up in a drawer.

I too have some very nice items and other than the blouses, which I take to the dry cleaners, I use Woolite and then hang them up to air dry!

Well I'm like Virinia, I still wash all my delicate things by hand in woolite.
My wife thinks it's time comsuming and saids "use the delicate cycle".
No I have some things I don't believe I could ever buy again, (--) Carol Ann
