Hi ya ladies,
Which season do you find is easier to dress in.My femme Marie prefers winter as she is able to cover up the tattoo's on her forearms, summer is very hard as she has to cover up still.
Marie got the tattoo's when she was a teenager and totally confused about what it was she did.....crossdressing.

I used to love the winter season for the same reasons most of us do.... able to dress more often and cover up with a long coat, etc.
But, this summer I really got into dressing for the weather and being outside. I loved to wear short shorts, tank tops and my bikini in the back yard. I'm going to miss that for the winter.
But, I am looking forward to wearing my boots again! So, I guess it's all good!

I don't like to wear much of anything in either mode in the summer.
Fall and Spring allow for a lot of flexibility in attire which is nice. Winter the femme clothing feels very cozy but the femme tank tops (a favorite)don't get worn much. On the other hand I have a nice long pile skirt and leggings are fun.

I used to dress from fall to late spring, and shut down for the summer, but since I found KB, I can brave all kinds of weather.

I dress pretty much anytime I want now that I'm retired, But the summer months seem to be harder that winter months. My skin seems to leak alot when it's hot.
Hey, Jaye not to ask a dumb question but what is KB ?
Hugs,
Danette

Fortunately the Bay Area's weather is pretty temperate year-round, so the weather isn't really a factor -- except that summers in SF are usually far too cold to wear a skirt.

As my ex's dad used to say, there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. KB is Kappa Beta, the Charlotte-area chapter of Tri-Ess. This is our new website:

Happy Halloween ("NATIONAL CROSSDRSSERS' DAY") to everyone!!
I'll turn this question around by saying: Summer is absolutely the WORST season for CD-ing in the Washington, D.C. area, particularly for those who do not drive. The heat and humidity are brutal.
The best seasons for CDing in the D.C. are are spring and fall, when the weather is more moderate.
If you've got appropriate clothing-- winter can be ok. A good hairband will keep that wig secure on blustery days.
Peace'n'love-- Kendra Lynn.

I'm retired and my wife allows me to dress femme around the house. I don't venture outdoors but I adjust what I wear somewhat to the season.
My main computer room is upstairs and the temperature isn't as closely regulated as downstairs. I'm not going to run up my heating/cooling bills just to wear a certain outfit. I have the option of staying downstairs and using my laptop.
