"Mamarapril" is one of many "medicines" on the OTC market that contain phytoestrogens - most common in flax seed and soy.
Phytoestrogens have been touted as relief for the hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause, and, by some mysterious extension, reputed to promote breast size. None of these claims have been established by any scientific or clinical studies, and, indeed, even the dosage required is unknown. The commercially available products may list the phytoestrogen sources, but they are under no obligation to be truthful or to give accurate values of concentration or dosage.
Estrogens of any sort must be administered by and under the supervision of competent medical personnel. There are numerous and unexpected side-effects, even including wandering blood clots.
Don't fool with your endocrine system - it is delicately balanced.
Hugs,
Lydia
