I posted this link on another CD forum, the same time I posted it here and was told that the post and link was being removed because it was offensive to the GG's on the site. I can not understand this since this cartoon is posted in most newspapers in this country and it is child rated.
MOD..... If this cartoon is offive to the GG's on this site, pleass accept my appolgy and please remove the post.

IMHO, I don't think the comic is offensive - - it's just another look at
reality with some comedy thrown in, too.
However, if any of the GG's here find it offensive, please let me know and I will remove the thread!!
Personally, I do enjoy buying some men's shirts, especially the silky ones (with a tropical design), and wearing them as a quasi-jacket over an outfit because they are longer in length. The problem is finding them without the dreaded breast pocket!

The sole reason I posted the link is the relationship in the cartoon to females crossdressing in male clothing and that it is totally acceptable. Whereas it would be unacceptable in a mainstream cartoon for a male to wear articles of femalewear.
My oldest neice wears men's shirts. Since it is cheaper to have a man's shirt drycleaned than it does for a woman's blouse. Saves her a lot of money when she is traveling.

JoAnn,
I haven't seen the cartoon but it's still the old standard as what people can wear and what you should wear.

It is my considered opinion that it is improper and NOT PC to refer to gg's that wear male attire as crossdressers! It is called a fashion expression!

I saw the comic in our local newspaper. I didn't find it offensive.
I thought the point of it however was that men are so fortunate not to have to worry about fitting into unforgiving clothes designed to look good only on a very few younger women, and how much tyranny clothing can hold over women.

Am I missing something?
Has the link changed?
I cant see anything except some burd doing her tax return form!
Women arnt the only ones burdened by fashions designed for the younger person.
As a 55 year old teenager, I find fashions for my age group to staid, and yet I wouldn't be seen dead in todays young male fashions.

I always thought it was unfair that women can wear whatever and we can't.
Anyways, I found another CD related comic in today's paper at lunch in one of my favorite strips, Get Fuzzy. Hope it's not offensive and sorry for posting this here but I thought it would help with clutter issues.
