(09-26) 13:07 PDT Flagstaff, Ariz. (AP) --

A thief with a hankering for sexy undergarments slipped off with hundreds of bras from a Victoria's Secret store in broad daylight.

Police in Flagstaff say they're taking a close look at how the thief managed to take off with about 350 bras while the store was open. The anti-theft tags hooked on the bras did not trigger a store alarm.

The theft from the store at the Flagstaff Mall on Sunday was not captured by surveillance cameras, police said. They suspect the items may be resold, and are monitoring Internet auction sites.

The bras are worth an estimated $15,000.

I'm still wondering (just on an academic level, not a realistic level) how you get that much merch out of a store without being caught?

Well, one thing you can say about the thief is that he'll be, uh, strapless for cash for the next little while. #-o

One would suppose that to get a haul of that magnitude out of the store he/she would have to had support, now his cup runneth over... :P

Some boob was in charge of store security, I suppose.

While the police might be strapped for evidence, I'm confident they'll stay abreast of developments in the case.

350 bras, you'd think every bra in stock was taken. Hard to believe no one noticed that many disappearing bras.
The smart bra has microwave antennae device implanted into the structure of the bra. Data about each breast is collected by embedded microchips which generate computer-generated images. Creators of this bra feel that this invention which is low-risk, non-invasive, simple-to-use and cost-effective device can provide easily-interpreted data and also at an early stage.
Microwaves and low-risk are oxymorons, right?

What kind of "data" do they need to gather about my breasts??? That's what I'd like to know. I mean.... Does the bra come with a heating device to prevent "eraser nipple"? Does the cup grow with the ever changing breasts of pregnant or pubescent women? Does it detect lumps and cancer more effectively than a mammogram or self-exam? Do they think that a woman is going to buy a bra that turns her into a human mammography machine? If she's not getting mammograms or doing self exams in the first place, why would she spend the money for the "smart" (and I use the term loosely) bra? I mean, seriously..... What kind of "readings" do they need to take from my breasts? They're not someone's science project. They're my breasts. The only "readings" that need to be taken from them are whether or not they're full of milk or how aroused my hubby gets while looking at them, thank you very much..... And trust me.... I don't need sensors to tell me EITHER of those things.

Tiffany, thank you for a Friday afternoon laugh.

And you most likely did not mean it that way, but sorry it just hit me funny.

Just one question for those of us that have lived through our spouses having kids. How far along are you?

.... as Kimberly takes several steps back out of range and nearer the wood shed. Virginia move over.

Actually KimberlyS, I totally intended that to be funny. I'm glad you enjoyed it. No need to hide.

I'm 30 weeks along. 3/4 of the way through. YAY! I guess that makes me about 7 1/2 months.

Sorry SL and Virginia, a bit hard to see as I am backing off. As I have no eyes in the back of my head. I do want to keep my eyes forward as to see what is coming. Do not worry, I did not see anything. At least for a price.
