My weekend
Ok, first I have been deeply in the closet all my life. Have been out to my wife for about a year. She wants nothing to do with my dressing or to ever see me doing it. The last three days I have had the house to myself and spent almost the whole time dressed. Went wild and painted my nails a different color each day. Even went out in the backyard dressed, stupid as I have a very nosey lady next door. I feel totally relaxed but a tiny little voice in my head is saying "just wait for the big let down that's coming" . I believe that if I dressed more often these huge up and down cycles of how I feel about it would go away or even out some. I'm not ready to push my wife's comfort level and without her seeing me I won't be dressing more. Well it was fun baking a cake dressed like Betty Crocker yesterday so I will dwell on that. Jill

Re: My weekend
One thing that I found helped me is knowing when the next time I had a chance to CD. Then it was not this let down to the unknown. And yes sometimes the next time is hard to plan when your wife does not know, or want to see or deal with it.Jill S wrote:.... I am glad you enjoyed your time.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

Jill I really enjoy those occaisional weekends as well.
My wife was away this weekend but the kids were home. They're teenagers and often get left alone so one night after they were asleep I went for a nice long walk in a black dress. It was a beautiful night. I didn't miss dressing the rest of the weekend-lately I haven't had much interest in it and truthfully only did it that once so I wouldn't regret not having taken advantage of the situation.
Hang in there.

Thanks ya'll for sharing this. Just today, my sweetie was leaving on a 2-3 day business trip. I had known that he was looking forward to it as he feels comfortable to dress to his teeth in the hotel room and then goof around on the internet. Various and sundry things went wrong, and long story short, his plans got several monkey wrenches in them.
He walked around here all of yesterday and this morning kind of cranky - I figured it was because his plans got torpedoed, but not quite understanding what a big deal it was or why he was so upset. Your posts help me to understand that this *is* somehow different from when other kinds of plans get shot to hell.
Thanks for sharing.

I feel so fortunate, I work from home, dress up 3-4 times a week, if only for a few hours each time. I'll fully dress including makeup (I'm getting good at makeup now) each time. On weekends I sometimes get to dress up while my SO is out with her parties.
I don't get to go out often though, sometimes walk to the back yard, out to the mailbox, sometimes shopping, but going out of town are my greatest times. I go to the mall en femme. I love it. The last time I went my brother called and wanted to visit me. So it screwed up one of the evenings I had planned. I loved seeing him but felt shorted not getting to go out that night. Those days out of town are very few and far between.
