Nail Varnish & the shakey hand

Hi,

Kerri is not getting any younger and has developed a bit of an unsteady hand when trying to apply make-up.

The hardest thing for me is nail varnish. I try to apply an even coat, and I end up with holes, prickly spikes and lines. Its not as if the varnish is old, its more to do with my lack of dexterity.

In the 1980's I used to use a nail varnish product that was delivered to the nail like a felt tip pen. It was so easy to use, never blobbed, never missed and never went sticky.

But try as I might I cant find it anywhere, chances are the modern miss doesnt use it. I know most of you girls are in USA but if anyone can tell me which brand does nail varnish in this form, I will be very grateful.

I wish every one of my sisters a very merry christmas, and a happy new year. Take care.

Kerri,

I empathize with you. Ever try to apply eyeliner with a shaky hand? Mine ends up on my ear. I'm scared to poke the applicator into my eye.

Yeah, if my hands get any shakier I'm gonna have to start using masking tape to mask around the nails. Heck I might even get out the air brush to paint them.

Or maybe on of these "Presents for Men"

There are polishing pens out there: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NAIL-ART-24-COLOU ... dZViewItem

I bought a set of these at a knitting show earlier this year, as the price was right and cheaper that listed here:

Until you find what you're looking for, I would suggest applying your polish with both hands resting on the table. That should alleviate some of that unsteadiness.

Kerri:
I worked for the company that made that product and it was branded by Azziza. It was removed from production in 1987.
Sorry. It was not a big seller.
