playfulness

A post I did elsewhere got me thinking. I am a fairly playful person although it is not always immediately obvious. Playing music, model building, hiking, and gardening are all in some ways a form of play for me. It has seemed that for a long time that crossdressing is another form of play, in some ways really just an adult form of playing dress up like kids do.
Anyone else feel this way, that sometimes this is just a fun, as in playful, thing to do?

Not really. EDIT: Not to say that I can't have fun dressing up. Didn't want it to sound like it was some serious business. If I couldn't enjoy it at times, it would be hard to take, being trans.
I've tried being playful about it with my wife, but I seem to choose times she doesn't feel playful back.

Honey, you know me, I am Virginia and Virginia is me and although we are enjoying our Magical Mystery Tour, it is simply our lifestyle now. The only playing I do is with the "great unwashed."
This is who I am, I love it and would not change it for anything.
Love,
Virginia

Sorry not play time for me. Only time it was play is when my mother told me it was ok to play dressup.

At one time there was some playfulness to my CDing. I guess you could say that was the only way that both of my wife and I could relate to it at the time due to our lack of information on the subject. When the need to CD increased and I began looking for information I quickly realized there was more to it for me. When the reality that this was really part of who I was set in for my wife the playfulness ended quickly.

Hi Absaroka--
It still gets into playfulness with me, when I'm exaggerating my voice or my female 'moves' to make a point. That can be a lot of fun, although it's a very small part of the overall experience.

Yes, it is very playful for me,, life is just a game for me so the way I dress is part of the game. Also this might be a reason that I am a goth,, part of being playful.

I sometimes find it playful to go thru my wardrobe of many dresses and try them on to see if they still fit me.
