Anyone know if there's any appreciable difference between an A vs AA cup size? Looking for underdress bras for everyday use and obviously want tight-fit cups. Unfortunately all the AA bras are available in the UK - there's some real nice T-shirt bras lol....

Have you tried onehanesplace.com?Playtex has the Thank goodness it fits line,they dont have a "aa" but they have a nearly A.It may be the same as a AA.Bonus,this month they are having a sale,two for 30 dollars.I have dealt with them and I have never had a problem.I hope this helps.

Playtex does have a nice Thank goodness it fits line with Nearly A sizes but you need to be a 38 or smaller band and 36 in most of them. There are not many AA bras in band sizes larger than 38, but there are some. do an internet search and you will find some. You are not likely to find them in the stores.

Something else you can do is to get a smaller band size in an A cup and use a bra band extender.

Hi again and thanks for the replies... yes, I have spent slot of time online looking for stuff! Of course, the 38AA bras I love can only be bought in the UK - littlewomwn.co.uk - and there's like only two in the U.S. - Grenier makes one and I think Playtex makes two AA's.

My question actually was would there be a major difference between a A and an AA bra, as there are somewhat more A styles to choose from.... otherwise, I may just have to place a UK order!

Unfortunately the A vs AA differences are not consistent from brand to brand or style to style. Most AA's will handle an A-size, but some A's will look half empty.

Ideally, you should be able to try them on, and some stores and sales girls are cooperative with us. Some of our sisters here might be able to advise you on this matter.

Barely There has a nice bra for under-dressing - they call it a crop-top (but this name does not do justice to how nice it looks relative to sports bras)

It is true in all bras and cups Lydia. I am a 36 Nearly B in the Playtex TGIF line yet if I buy a Playtex Cross Your Heart I wear a 36A, then there is Maidenform where I need a 36B. Bras are like all women's clothes, size is just an approximation! I try on everything now from bras on out.

Here we go again girls. I need to have a A cup or AA size 40 but the straps have to be long enough to not sit high on my chest but rather down below the breast. I cant find any and am wondering if the Amoena that was mentioned earlier has long straps.
Hope to find a good answer to us tall peoples delema

The Amoena's I have are 40AA, and the straps at full length are OK for me. But they would be too short of a tall girl like you - I am 5'6". If you are at all skilled in sewing, you could make extensions easily. Maybe use a stretchable material?

Try wearing one band size smaller with an underwire bra. This will make your bust protrude out more
