I know we girls often complain about the same bra size being different from one maker to another. I find the same with panties. My size is about 20 but I have size 16 pair on now which is too big. I always wear panties even in male attire

I have found for me a medium panty fits well. I too enjoy wearing panties when I can. It helps me feel feminine. I have not noticed the difference in sizing though, Kittie.

I get all my panties from one place and a size 6 is a perfect fit, and yes I have my panties on 24/7 =D> .

Now you know what they say about a woman who doesn't wear panties ..OO..

Honestly, I don't know why GG's put up with this stuff. My lovely bride takes me shopping with her quite often (well...somebody has to tell her if the jeans make her butt look funny?) and I have watched in shock as two identical pair of jeans, same manufacturer, same size, same lot don't fit the same! The clerk (honest lady) said you always have to try on every item to make sure.

Now....if this happened on Men's clothes? Hell, we'd stop buying that brand in a heartbeat? What in the world is Women's fashion manufactureres thinking? It's horrendous! Bad suppliers....Bad!

Sigh...... [-X

Size medium, 6, etc...... some companies like Avenue and Lane Bryant size their panties in dress sizes. Why just complain about panty sizes for women? Shoes sizes vary just as much. Tennies seem to have a scale slightly different than dress shoes -- at least for me.

Men's and women's manufacturers each have their ideal model to which they make their clothes lines fit around. They are hoping you fit their model so you will buy their stuff more often than the competitors. If no one was trying to differentiate their product lines then we (men and women alike) would all being wearing one style of panty and one top and bottom.

As a consumer, I have to do my part in finding what fits -- brands, styles, and sizes of each. I'm okay with the hunt, but that doesn't mean I understand some of the craziness such as wedding gowns having to be 2 sizes bigger than your dress size. Why do empire waists even exist..... Who thought crop pants were a good idea.... :) I love being a girl who likes to shop. :)
