I had never shaved my legs before but as of today can't say that again. The way they feel is out of this world, I just love it. Have some learning to do, nicked my self in a few places, think maybe the edge gel I am using my be irritating my shin. Legs had lots of bumps. Started having it on my face just thought it was the razor's so bought a better brand to do my legs but did not change shaving gel to cream. May have been a fubar on my part.
But saved today so I could ware my first par of tights. Wow what a feeling. I have got a purple flower print skirt with matching blouse. The tights are a darker purple but to me look good together.
Was not brave enough to shave my chest or arms yet or I may have taken a picture and posted it. That and have not got the makeup thing started, so would not have any idle how to make my self presentable.
My mother may not make it another year but if she found out about my cding she would never forgive me and I am sure my sisters would all disown me. So tell I can move away from here or get the courage to tell them I will remain in my little closet.

razor burn, oh my poor dear,
Most likely because it was your first time shaving or an old blade. Telling your family about your dressing is always a hard thing to do, take your time until you are ready.

Well Carol Ann it was m first time and use 2 new razor's.
I post 2 pics today to try and show how I am restyling my hair to have a pixe style that is on the short side but can be styled easily every day. It may be to much but going to give it a try.
Have spent all morning dress as I think I am going to call lafem, blouse skirt, paintes, and tights. I have enjoyed it very much. I learned why it take lady's longer to use the bath room. Pull it all down set and relieve yourself, then you have to pull it all back up. Straighten it pull down skirt then wash your hand. I guess with practice I will get faster and better at it.

Had the same problems with shaving for the first time also Bobbe. Nicked myself too. I now take my time and the more I shave (once per fortnight) the more skilled I am becoming. Only do my chest hair monthly. Have not done my arms as I only dress in the privacy of my home; with my wife's knowledge.

yes, shaving is tricky. It could be the razors, or because it was your first time, or the gel. I usually use the Venus razors with the built in moisturizing strips because the cheap razors really tear up my legs. And I don't use a gel or shaving cream, I get handmade soap from a shop in California that has a lot of extra oils and is all natural. It's expensive, but so worth it. They also make a hair soap, which I've been using lately that I really like too.

I don't understand the benefit of a moisturizing strip, because is follows behind the razor as you shave instead of the razor following it.
Venus seems to result in less nicks due to the shape of the head.

I am back to the forum and am going to keep reading and posting as things go along. I stop posting and was not going to come back here ever again because of something said to me in a email. I statted as much to SilverLady but she convinced me to over look the comment and stay here.
That being said I have been buying a few more dresses, bought me some silicon breast, love them gives me the lady like look I wanted. They only made me a 40b but I was not looking to be over endowed lol.
My shrink after learning of my need to be in female cloths set me up with a therapist to help me understand if I am a man dress in women's clothes or finely living in the cloths of the gender of who I really am a women.
I live in a very chistain town and am not sure how me changing would be received. My therapist things that I may be better off moving to a larger city before I go full time in dresses. Which I had already thought I would do. I am pretty sure my sisters would disown me if I came out. I spoke at leangh with my younger 14 year old daughter were my life was going and she said go for it. She said cool I have a gay daddy. Go figure.
