Skirts Ahoy!

I am a mature lady of 71 and I love wearing skirts of all length.

I love to wear flowing skirts and they feel very comfortable. I also like a long skirt with a nice slip or petticoat. Lifting my skirt going up and down stairs makes me really feel very ladylike.

I am quite fond of knee length skirts and some a little above the knee.

However with these I like them to be a little snug. Love the feel of the skirt around my knees when I walk. I get just a great feeling and think that this helps me perfect my ladies walk as well.

What do you ladies think about a mature woman wearing some tight knee length skirts?

When I dress I look like I am in my fifties and usually make a very attractive woman. You can check out my photos in the photo gallery.

Any comments or recommendations?

Thanks girls! :)

Wow I would love to answer this, Martha dear. But how?

Any way, you are as beautiful as you feel. And you feel like in your 50's, so I think there is no problem at all to dress like that. =D>
I think all of us girls have something like that, dressing younger then we are. I noticed that when I am shopping I tend to shop for age appropriate clothes, but always get "slightly" younger outfits. :)
I personally like skirts and dresses to about the knee, a little under or a little above. I want to look sexy buy classy, like a lady.

I think you have nothing to worry about dear, be yourself and I think you look just as beautiful as you feel, dressed in tight knee length skirts.

Flaunt it if you got it and I'm not talking about an old lady tushy that's either so flat you can wear your pants backwards and be just as good a fit or so low slung that it rubs your knees when you walk.

If you look good, you look good. Who's seen the commercial where they are describing who you think might be a thirty something but she qualifies for AARP? Dress comfy, dress nice and show your legs and shape if you are proud. These discussions about age are just not necessary. Besides, I refuse to be old; I'm just going to be decrepit.

I make a pretty woman when dressed and do have nice legs.

So within moderation, I will flaunt it!

Can't wait to perfect my woman's walk!

Go for it!

I know a few women who complain about the fact that transgender women frequently have great legs. So if that is you flaunt it. And pencil skirts? Divine.

Oooooh! Would love to have some pencil skirts in my wardrobe.

But don't worry. I will flaunt it!

As I say on my profile, I am a mature woman with a youthful attitude!

I love skirts of all sorts as well. OK, I don't have any mini-skirts, but otherwise..............

I agree with you, it seems like with a long skirt, one likes it to be flowing, and loose and breezy. Except I do have some long heavy wool skirts for winter, but that's different. And the knee length ones I usually like to fit snugly at the thighs. Depending on how it fits, sometimes I will wear a booty panty underneath to give it a nicer shape.
Just right now I'm wearing a denim skirt that's a few inches above the knee, with high heeled boots and I think it looks pretty good.

As a mature woman I will pass the mini skirts as well!

But the knee length skirts that fit tight , I just love those. Makes me feel so ladylike and I do have a nice pair of legs.

Also your idea for long woolen skirts for winter is a good one.

Thanks!

My husband wears skirts more often than I do! Just above the knee to ankle length, straight or A-line. Some slitted or high/low hems. And yes she has great legs. Just not much fashion sense.

Oh yes. I do enjoy wearing slitted skirts. They are cool. Love to show a piece of my leg! Tee hee!

I am 61 and wear skirts that range from just above the knee to maxi. IMHO if you have the legs wear them. I would advise avoiding the minis in public unless your aim is to attract attention. I do wear some mid thigh skirts when I am out with the BF, but you know how men can be!

No mini skirts for me.

Just a little above the knee or knee length and tight. I love the feel of the skirt around my knees.

Or some nice flowing skirts as well.

I certainly don't want to standout very noticeable.

I do make a very attractive woman dressed and if I got a couple of wolf whistles I wouldn't mind that though! LOL!

Martha that is one of the many wonderful parts of being a woman is skirt lengths. We can vary our look to match our moods and the occasion with differing hem lengths. I am 61 and have skirts of just about every length. Granted the minis are long gone but I still wear knee length skirts but like you I have come to really enjoy the long flowing calf and even maxi lengths. Enjoy your feminine side and be the person you want to be!
