First, you don't have to shave parts that don't show unless you want to. Second, how often? My legs will be stubbly enough in two days to want to shave them again. You will just need to see when you are tired of your stubble. You can deal with the stubble two ways at that point -- shave it off again or let it grow out. I only shave when I am in the mood or when I am going out. As for the itchies? I think I have have shaved often enough now that I don't get them like I used to. Again, if the hair grows out the itchies end same as shaving again.

Hmm... I don't remember itching. Just like Davita I must be used to it. I used to shave every 2-3 days apart, now probably 3 times in 2 weeks.

I do adjust my clothing accordingly. If I am freshly shaved I am wearing skirts or dresses. When the stubble is showing I wear jeans or leggings.
Same on top, long sleeve with stubble, short or sleeveless when shaved.

I started out with those cheap one time use disposable razors, but I now invest in the pricier 4 or 5 blade razors. With 5 blades 5 times the change of cutting your self.

Nah just kidding. I seem to have better results with these razors. I also use the shaving cream of course and afterwards I rub in coconut oil.

I do shave my entire body, yes "every place" I can reach. Except my back. Sometimes I ask my daughter to shave it if I am wearing a open dress. In the summer months I have the spa wax my back.

And almost every time I get my nails done I have them wax my eyebrows.

I also used the chemical hair removal cream once, but will never again do this. It was my own mistake, but I got burned, which lasted almost a year.

Euhmmm... facial hair. I have completed the 9 sessions laser hair removal and starting electrolysis Thursday. [-o< (pain?)

Of course it is, we all are. Depends on how thick your hair is. One coworker was so furry, one could almost hear the follicles groan from the stress.
And, how much of your time do you spend dressed. My husband's attitude is much like Davita's, shave what shows when needed. He shaves his chest down to the bra line, arms, pits, and neck, along with face of course. His back is his problem.

You may want to invest in the better quality razors. Mach 3 is my favorite. The cheapos don't really save any money, I use them up much faster.

GO onto Amazon there is a tool that looks like a back scratcher, but has a holding clamp that fits a razor at the perfect angler to shave the bac, and any other areas that are hard to get to. Works like a charm!

I shave every two days. From nose to toes, but the arms. Seems like I have forever. On the second day I do get the itches sometime. But I am not sure if it is the stubble or just dry skin.

i agree Kymmie. at least every two days for me also. i myself think for me its dry skin. i use skintimates shave cream. also when im done i use lotion on my freshly shaved skin. this helps keep the itch down for me.

I shaved my legs for the first time on Sunday. I started with a regular razor and realized it would take all day so I used hair clippers to get the thick hair off then used a regular razor to shave closer. Then on Monday I shaved them again, and today too. So far no itching and I love how my legs look. I'm planning on keeping them shaved at least through the winter.

When I first used to dabble in cross dressing I would shave my legs and then just let it grow back. This latest time I used a hair trimmer to make the hair shorter first for a few days to get used to it before shaving completely. Being fall headed to winter I have been battling dryness, but I apply lotion and use moisturizing body lotion in the shower. Once you get used to it it begins to feel like second nature.

I'm thinking of getting one of those epi-lady shavers.

My order of MOOM just arrived.

Haven't tried it out yet, but I bought it from The Breast Form Store... Its supposed to be like waxing, but almost painless with natural ingredients.

We'll see.

Might be the perfect alternative to shaving!
