Flat Shoes

As much as we all love our heels, I have to say that I for one am happy that Flats have made a comeback.
(Hey, I do quite a bit of walking to trains & subways or in & around the city) But aside from that I see women young and old, wearing them all day, and I have to say they're very cute!!
I see so many cute styles out there nowadays - next week I am picking up a couple of pairs. I saw the real cute white ones at work & will pick them up tomorrow. They'll be great to wear on Sunday to the bridal shower!
So - flat shoes - love them or hate them? What's your take on their comeback?

Hi Lorna,
I've only ever had one pair of womens shoes so far that were flats - a pair of black ones I bought at Kmart for $5, almost 3 years ago, wore around the house only (like all of my womens shoes) and donated to last years church rummage sale. the heel heights on my femme shoes ranges from 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches.
My male mode footwear has no heel height and when I dress femme I like some heel height.
My wife has one pair of shoes for special occasions with 1 inch heels.
We do look at femme shoes once in a while, and I think some of the flats are cute, so I will never say never, but for me, its not a high possibility now.

I love flat shoes. Especially with me being so tall and everything. You're right they are making cuter styles lately. Either that or I'm noticing more.

I recentaly got a pair of flat hush puppies that feel great when you wear them.
Wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of flats.

Ladies
I'm 5'5" and 135lbs. I need all the height I can get! Please. I love heels and it's great feeling taller. Most shoes I have are 2 1/2 to 3 inch heels. They feel great and I love them. Then again I have small girlie feet. As a matter of fact that is how I got my wife into bed for the first time. I told her I had a nice foot for her. She was disappointed to say the least. I always thought my feet were my best girlie feature.They're cute as hell! I should model womens shoes!Love you ladies!
