They say leggings will be very fashionable this fall. Although I am too old to be fashionable I got a pair and they are very comfortable. Warmer than thigh highs and a lot more comfortable than pantyhose. Plus they don't run. I think I'll be wearing them a lot this winter. If need be I could pass them off as long underwear I think also.

I wear leggings as a base layer quite often. I love the look under a miniskirt or a dress. I am glad that look came back in.

I'm also going to give leggings a try soon.
I think they do look very cute with a short skirt.

Yes, I love leggings. One look that I like is wearing them in fall/winter with a short, lightweight summery skirt or dress. And of course a great pair of boots to finish the outfit!

I have a couple of pairs, Target has a lot of them and a lot of colors and styles. I'll be buying more, they are warmer than thigh highs (my favorites).

Leggings are my favourite part of the ''businesswoman'' look I came to love so much.

I took a trip to the mall yesterday, and half the women I saw were wearing leggings under either a minidress or a long tunic, with boots of some sort.

I have just got my first pair of the legging and have to agree with a short skirt and heels, they look very good. I was not comfortable in short skirts but have to admit with the leggings on and nice top, the outfit looks good and feels good. And in my experience if you feel good you also look good.
Give them a try girls

With the present cold spell in Florida, I am wearing leggings held up by garters from my all-in-one foundation. Feels nice as well as warm.

It is getting cold up here this time of year. You would think the cold would bring out pants and it does for most. But out doing some errands yesterday I noticed it also brings out the leggings and tights with shorter skirts. On one gal I had to look hard to even see the skirt as her coat was longer than the skirt was. And the coat was not much longer than hip length. It is not a look I ever thought about wearing but the gal was about my age.

I *love* that look, especially with a pair of tall boots. If you've got the legs, go for it! Don't worry about your age; I've said before that one of the biggest mistakes CDs make is "dressing old".
love the look

OK... I'll have to try them.
I've noticed, when I see "genetic girls" wearing leggings, that some times leggings look like really tight pants, and sometimes they resemble tights.
Does one generally wear leggings over tights or are they a substitute?
Are there many styles/varieties of leggings?
Peace-- Kendra Lynn ("hippie cheerleader").

There are 2 different kinds of leggings. One is like a pair of tights or nylons. The other is a tight pant made of cotton and spandex generally. The kind I like is the second type. They both come in stirrup configuration.
