I wanted to pass this on as it really worked for me and given my physical structure, if you will, it was a very pleasant surprise!
I went to our support group meeting Friday night and I wore an off the shoulders, stretch, boat collar top - first time I had tried that. I do not have a strapless bra so I needed something. Well, SL has a set of 'B' cup "Silicone Self-Adhesive Bra" so before we went to Richmond I tried them and they seemed to work (other than they were a bit small for my frame), so she went to WalMart and found basically the same thing called "Amazing Adhesive Bra" in a 'C' cup (evidently the largest size they come in).

Cost was $23.46 and they work!

This, compared to a 6 oz. bottle of surgical adhesive that I saw for $60.00, is cheap!
They stayed on and in place, did not slip, left no marks and I wore them for a good 5 hours.

We stood out in the parking lot after the meeting, and it was a bit warm and humid, and they never moved!

The box says you can wear them up to 50 times before the adhesive wears out. You sort of place them at the bottom of where you want them to be and gently roll them up into place. Make sure where you want them because it is not recommended that you try and adjust them once they are in place unless you start all over and that just reduces the adhesion. A simple washing with mild soap and water, rinse, let them air-dry, and the adhesive is rejuvenated for your next use.
I recommend them and for those of us who will NOW look for a cool "off the shoulder" look this summer - they are great!
Love,
Virginia
PS: The "Silicone Self-Adhesive Bra" is the exact same thing as the "Amazing Adhesive Bra" - same product and internal packaging, although the outer box has a different design. The "SSAB" was purchased at a L'eggs-Hanes-Bali outlet store for $33.00.

Thanks for the tip Virginia.

It sounds cheap enough to give it a try at lease once anyway.

I got to make a trip there tomorrow anyway so I'll see if I can find them.

Danette -
The "Amazing Adhesive Bra" is in a bright pink-and-white rectangular box, and they should be on a rack on or near the clear bra straps, etc. I've seen these products at 3 different WalMart stores (in 2 states) and each time they were on an 'End-Cap'.
They also have a foam-type adhesive bra by the same company. I've tried that, and did not like it at all, as I found it to be very uncomfortable. However, every time that I was wearing the "AAB" I realized that I nearly forgot that I was wearing it, it was that comfortable.

PS: {What's an 'End-Cap'? Think of each aisle as a capital letter I - the short bars are called End Caps.}

I was looking at something like that at Walmast just the other day. I didn't fully understand what some of them were, there was a rack of different types.
Thanks for the tip.

Hi Virginia,
You really started something here. TWO Walmarts in this area and their online store are all "out of stock" on the Amazing Adhesive Bra. No information on when more will be arriving.
It may take a while from China (I assume).
Did you know you had such power?
Hugs,
Lydia

I was in Wal-Mart today and ask for them and the SL just looked at me like I was stupid and I could read her face like a deck of cards. So I ask her again "do you know what I'm look for". All she could say was "I never heard of them", now she didn't even ask anyone else for help so I just left it at that.
Sorry didn't want to open a can of worms as my wife was with me and I could see the look on her face also, so I just walked off.

I've noticed that the 2 WalMart stores in our area have diminished supplies of the
Amazing Adhesive Bra, also. However, when I just did a Google search for this item, I've found that
this thread is the second listing for the product (not counting the paid advertisers), and listings 4 and 5 are threads from the
Crossdressers.com website!! I'm wondering if a whole lot of CD's are finding out what an excellent product this is and are buying them all up!?!?!
If you have a Legg's-Hanes-Bali outlet store near you, they carry the "Silicone Self-Adhesive Bra" for about $33.00 - - exact same product, just different outer packaging. I've checked their website, but it's not listed.
I'll keep my eyes open, ladies!!

Hey Virginia,
I found some spray on adhesive at walmart for $3.98 a can. I believe it's Dupont, it's in a blue can. It will hold for about three days if one wants and dries to a consistancy that looks the same as a the adhesive on band-aids. It's flexible and does not dry hard. I have been using it for a year and a half now 24/7 and have absolutely no side effects. In fact my pain medicine patches leave a rash after only two days and they are medical adhesive, but this adhesive does not. You can even shower and they won't come off. I usually take them off to shower, daily, because I like being clean shaven, so a can lasts about 2 months. The adhesive will wash off with soap and water, but much faster with "goo gone" or other adhesive removers that are mineral oil based. Even baby oil will take it off.
Not only that, but I wear Size 8 breastforms, which you know are pretty big and I can go braless and jump up and down without them coming loose. Even after that, they can still easily be pulled off with no discomfort(unless you didn't shave). Also, you can reposition if you don't get it in the right place without adding more adhesive. Even after several hours, you can still reposition them without adding more adhesive. I really would not use anything else now.
DISCLAIMER:
I can not guarantee that everyone will have the same results that I have had, but for me it works great. I can not guarantee that there are not things going into my body that perhaps I would prefer not and can not guarantee it won't make you ill or even kill you. I can only say that I have had no ill effects as of yet. It seems to be just like the adhesive on band-aids.
In short, it's cheap, easy to get, works great, comes off easily and doesn't cause a rash.
Love always,
Elizabeth

Ok Elizabeth, out with more details. I do not really want to cover the entire store to find this. inquiring minds need to know.
Is it really Dupont?
Does this have a specific use printed on the can?
And now for the more important questions.
What department of the store is it in?
What other items is it shelved with?
Any other details so I can be the first CDer to get there and claim my stock first?
HEY SIR, you just took that out of my cart. Give that back to me or you get it with this socket wrench and size 10 high heels.

Hey girls,
The brand is Duro and it's called All Purpose Adhesive. It's in the paint department with the tape and glue. It's in a blue can. Hope that helps.

Elizabeth

Thanks Elizabeth, I guess time to go shopping.... Wallyworld is open 24hrs here. I hope the other cders in town have not beat me there and got it all already. This may be a smaller town, but we have more than one CDer here. And I still have not figured out how we got a Wallymart. Gotta go, shopping to do.

Well, my curiosity got the best of me, so tonight I tried the Duro spray on my "teardrop" Pals. They are big, I would guess at least a "D" cup or "DD." No, the glue would not hold them. Just my experience. I think if you go to a "C" or smaller it seems to work quite well. It then becomes a matter of knowing how to dress to "show off your assets!"

I bought some also, on my size c forms. The duro held them up but I could not get all the glue off the forms. I tried all the solutions mentioned, but they were still tacky. I really liked it, but won't use it for fear of ruining my forms.
