My first experience -

I was 11 years old when my mom remarried and she married a man that had a very pretty 16 year old daughter - I only remember that I was completely infatuated with her ( so were every one of my friends) - I remember that summer when I was the only one home going into her room and looking through all of her stuff - I found the drawer with the underwear, bras and pantyhose and from that point on it was all over. I still have no idea why I had to put them on but I did - then I found her dresses and shoes and spent most of the day playing in her clothes.

I am sure that I lost track of time and heard the door opening downstairs - so I quickly fixed up the room and ran to mine still in her clothes - I changed fast and hid her clothes - I put the dress and shoes back later the next day but kept her underwear - the next few years I repeated that scene as often as I could until she went away to college.

to my knowledge I was never suspected but who knows - now i cant stop thinking about being completely dressed as a woman so I guess I blame my unplanned step sister - but it has been a lot of fun (mot of the time)!!

Ashley:
Older sisters were always aware of what we did in their closets and dressers. You might want to explore this with her now that a lot of time has passed and she would be able to reflect on that time frame. Might be insightfull to both of you.

Ashley,

Didn't take my mother long to figure it out.

My undoing as a teen was losing track of what was supposed to go back in the drawer and what was supposed to go back in the laundry hamper. When Mom's black strapless bra showed up in the laundry, it was all over for me. Single most humiliating experience of my life.

Tattling crossed hands: I know also how that plays out.
My sister figured that it was me and not my older brother.
Hell has no fury over a young girl whose brother wears her bra, panties skirt and blouse and forgets to put the back in the correct place.
Over the years, she has gotten over it, we laugh and she is the one that I confide in and do go shopping and dining out with.
She has become very helpful and most important, supportive of me.

That's wonderful, Stephanie. I later gained a stepsister, but she was five years younger than I. We were close (in fact we have never referred to each other as anything other than "brother" and "sister"), but not THAT close. I sometimes wonder what things might have been like if she had been five years older than I. Given her personality, I think she would have been accepting, but nor very enthusiastic about it. We'll never know.

Lucky is the boy who dresses who has an older sister (so much better than wearing Mom's stuff). Luckier still if she is supportive.

Must differ with with you all here, for I know that neither of my sisters nor my mother have a clue, though their clothes were the very fabric of my beginnings. I've often wondered how I got away with it, as completely as I used to dress in nearly all their things... makeup too. Certainly there were some close calls, but never got caught. Really not sure if I was just really good at keeping it private, or if it was their blind eyes, but I have no doubt that they are unaware of this part of me.. for now!

Well like most of us, I would sneak into my mom's room and try on a lot of her things. Her girdles were an item that seemed to fascinate me. I'm sure she knew something but never said a word. It wasn't till I was in my 30's that her and I had a long chat about it and me. She hardly blinked an eye lash about the whole thing. But then I figure it had a little to do with my younger brother being gay.

Hi girls,

My sister said she had no clue I had ever taken or used her clothing. However, she always knew I was not very masculine, especially compared to my brothers. So it was not a surprise to her when she found out, but she never suspected anything.

I would like to point out that I was always aware of returning things to initial conditions. If nothing looks out of place, it does not draw investigation. I presume many of you have similar expertise. I always took the attitude "I can not get caught". I took no risk unless I was certain of the outcome. It forced me to be conservative, but in a house with eight kids, I had to be extra careful. I had a few close calls, but didn't get caught.

Love always,
Elizabeth
