How it began for me ...

I was born during WWII without the benefit of a "traditional father" and was raised by my grandmother and mother. My mom was a registered nurse who worked in a large city hospital and lived in the nurses quarters which was a difficult environment to raise a baby, so I was sent off to live with my grandmother who had been widowed shortly before the war.
After the war my mom took a position at a small hospital in a very rural area of the Midwest, we were provided with a nice house and my grandmother came to live with us. The only kids that lived close enough to play with were two sisters, and most of the staff at the hospital were female so I had little in the way of male role models. When I was around 10 my grandmother passed away and I was pretty much alone in the evenings since my mom worked the 4 to 12 shift.
I had been around lingerie all of my life and loved the look and feel of bras, panties, girdles and nylons. When I was around 11 to fill my evenings, I began to dress in my mom's undies that were in the dirty clothes. It somehow made up for my grandmother and mom not being there.
When puberty hit, I became sexually active and my dressing faded. After high school I got married to my first wife and we moved to the west coast where I went to university. My wife worked nights and I went to class in the morning and worked in the afternoon and evenings. Home alone again! I began to wear my wife's underwear while I studied before going to bed. Of course I took everything off before bedtime so I was never outted. Once I graduated and began work, and with a daughter to raise my dressing activities were again put aside until I retired which is a story for another time.
