Thanks for sharing your beginnings story with us.
I'm with you about your grandmother. I don't blame her either. I know lots of boys who would have FREAKED if anyone tried to put them in girl clothes. So I think you're right you already had a genetic pre-disposition to being ok with that.
I think it's awesome that you had an adult in your life who kind of saw something special about you and decided to support you instead of suppressing what she saw. For all we know she grew up with a CD'r as a relative or close friend. Then again, maybe it was something as simple as she wanted a granddaughter.
Regardless, I wish that I could have had an adult who was that way with me. I would have loved it! Thanks again for sharing your beginnings with us!!!
