How many ways is there to wear pantyhose? Do pantyhose go over the panties or underwear the panties?

Pantyhose are to take the place of panties, garter belt and stockings as an all in one garment. Panties not needed when wearing pantie hose. But I know many still wear panties including me. I wear panties, pantyhose, and a high waist long leg pantie girdle.

Either way.
Personally, since some pantyhose don't have a built in panty, I prefer to wear panties underneath.

I wear a light support pantyhose and no panties are needed. It gives you a much smoother look that way especially if your wearing a snug fitting outfit, theres no worry about seeing any panty lines...

I prefer to wear panty hose over everything. Pantie and long leg girdle. This has a tendency to provide for a smoth line.

What I really don't understand is women who wear panties outside their pantyhose. What's up with that?

Aileen, I think wearing them on the outside gives a more finished look. But not like anyone is going to see the finished look in my case including my wife who does not care to see. But it may be more of a mental thing for some women knowing that they have a nicely finished look under even if no one else sees. Kind of like wearing pretty underwear can make one feel good even if no one else sees it.

the panty with a bit of control to it outside the panty hose helps to keep them from sliding down.

Sheer-to-waist pantyhose look great with some loose floaty knickers on top (french knickers or tap pants).
I don't wear ordinary panties with pantyhose, though. Some of my fave pairs of pantyhose have a embroidered "panty" already woven into the design, and they're too pretty to cover up!
If you need to wear panties over your pantyhose to stop them sagging or sliding down, then you're probably wearing the wrong size or brand.

Who's to know how you are wearing them? Panties over to keep them from sagging according to my wife. Me I prefer panties, panty hose then a girdle.
