Unintended Consequences

There have been some unintended consequences after I actually gave into my desires and got all dressed up. I liked it, had fun, and want to do it again. To make the next outing(s) even more pleasant, I have made some life style changes. I turns there have been some positive side effects that I hadn't explicitly planned on.

Better healthy reactions:
* My attempts to loose weight are again showing progress. A while back I was around 225 had gotten down to the 208-210 range and plateaued, but now am already in the 202-205 range.

* My blood pleasure is starting to improve. yea.

* I am eating more fruit and vegetables and likening (well lets not go too far, stopped hating) it. Probably has a lot to do with all of the above.

* I have become a serial moisturizer user. My skin loves it. Some blackheads that I have been dealing with for years are now simply gone.

* A few other things classified as TMI that no lady would talk about.

Attitude:
* Better attention to my own grooming. Especially nails and hair.

* More tolerant of the time my wife a daughter need to 'get ready'. (relatively I was already pretty good here, but now I don't get frustrated).

* I look at the styles in the catalogs instead of just the models. Still enjoy the models, but I'm developing a sense of fashion now.

Life is good.

Oh yes. There's no greater incentive than having to get into that new dress - works every time!

Carol, Is that what Aretha Franklin was singing about???? :P

Full disclosure, I stole the line about looking at the fashion and looking at the models from on of the SO's I think on this forum. Looked around but couldn't find it. Attribution is due, sorry.

I like the thought, might make it into my signature on day.

We do ourselves no favor by hiding in the dark, if we are careful, then like a butterfly leaving it's chrysalis we will find ourselves leaving it behind and floating away on the air.
