Feeling feminine

Post by Andrea F. »

Hi ladies. Thank you for this wonderful site where I can be myself. I am 45 and feel feminine and love to dress in nightgowns a lot. Feels so relaxing to me but need to talk with others here who share the same feelings I do. I do love those silky long gowns that my mommy used to wear. Little that she knew that her son (daughter), being me, would be wearing the same things. The feeling to wear pretty things is still very intense for me. I just need to reach out and have friendships here with girls here who share the same feelings I do. Why do nylon nightgowns feel so good and addicting? I have about 30 of them but looking for more. I love shaving too. That makes wearing that so much better. Thanks ladies and ta ta for now.

I frequently sleep in a nightgown, or a chemise, but I grew up sleeping in my underwear like my Dad - briefs and a t shirt rather than pajamas unless it is extremely cold outside like in the twenties or lower. But I am a part timer it is hard to predict what I will sleep in until I lay down, then sometimes I get up and change or change back.... If I am very tired who cares I flop face down in my underwear with the ceiling fan on and lights are out.
Go with the flow

When I first tried on my mommies nightgown around 8, it changed my life forever. I never did like men's pajamas. So when I had my own place, I promised myself that I would wear long nylon gowns like my mommy did. I lounge in them everyday while at home. Just can't wear anything else while at home.

Thanks for the comments ladies. I've become accustomed to soft cotton nightshirts and now am convinced that I must add a nylon nightgown to my nightwear collection :)

Brie my sweetness, nylon nightgowns are a must have in your closet. Both long and short gowns would be very pretty for you. I am a long nightgown girl here. The joy of a long sweeping gown is amazing. I lounge in them all the time when I am home relaxing. May I suggest you be hair free to fully enjoy them like I do. don't hesitate to contact this girl.

Ahh the nylon nightgown or chemise...they are so wonderful...whether long or short. It is great to get up in the morning feeling feminine in a nightgown and then continue getting ready for the rest of the day in feminine clothes.

Donna my sweet, I have a few of those nightgowns in my closet hanging up and yes they are so pretty. The nylon skirt is so heavenly on my shaved legs. So nice to wake up feeling the nylon in the morning and it reminds me that I am girl at heart. Nice to see that we are not alone with wanting to feel femme. I am so glad to be here amongst girls like me and sharing my true feelings. The acceptance is amazing and makes me feel so good. When I am off from work, I rarely get out of my nightgown. I find it hard to get into the male role for work. After work, I am so glad I can return to femininity and my shower routine. Then slip into a gown for the night and be who I really am.

I enjoy being feminine so much, its like the best feeling that I have ever had. I love that my femme side is slowly coming out of my shell. I love going to bed with something feminine on and lately its been tights and panties and before it was a pair of leggings that I really like to wear. I really want to buy some silk bed sheets, I think that would be amazing.

The good news is that there are many more things besides nightgowns that will feel good when you wear them!

Have any of you girls worn Vanity Fair nighties?

They were once huge at Sears and for the price they feel like silk itself.

The nylon ones are very hard to come by at Sears today because Amazon seem to have bought them all lol

I plan on getting a few more .

BTW, Fruit of the Loom owns Vanity Fair and Vasserette. Sears still sells VF and I have been trying to decide when next to get a couple nightgowns because they have these jewel tones to die for.

I only fairly recently bought some pyjamas, even if just because that was something still missing from my ever growing collection.
I do have one of those silk or silk like things.
Had to throw a gorgeous red one out as one of the plastic rings was broken and I didn't see a way to repair it.
I don't really wear that single white one though, as it leaves too much of my upper body exposed and I don't like seeing my chesthair and stuff.

I do fully understand wanting to own a lot of similar items.
I have at least five pairs of blue jeans, for instance, not to mention about a dozen or more jeans and similar pants in various other colours..

Wearing women's clothes is pretty awesome.
Today, I couldn't wait until I had made dinner, so basically am wearing as much women's clothes as I dare.
Skintight blue jeans, black belt, black high heels, a set of purple underwear, but a normal blue men's shirt.
So unless someone walks along my kitchen window and actually stops and looks, no one will notice, just a guy in jeans and a shirt, move along, nothing to see here..
But in the mean time.. :)
And when I am done, put my fake boobs in, change the shirt for a nice top and I'm done and can relax for the rest of the evening.

By now I'd pretty much wear women's wear just because of how it feels, much more comfy than my male wardrobe.
I'm actually thinking, when I go out shopping for drab clothes, I will try to find something a bit more comfy, a bit less drab.
As a male, I really do wear drab clothes, never wanted to attract any attention to myself.
When crossdressing, I can either go for a stylish look, or for things that stand out way more.
I even have one top that features a four letter word, something I'd never even contemplate as a male..
But then, I am still a male right? Agh, this is confusing.
