My forum time is infrequent and at different times of the day when my wife is busy somewhere else, like now she's soaking in the tub, so I dropped in to see what's happening.
Chat would be a nightmare as I might disappear for no reason which in my mind is a rude thing to do to others on the chat. Opps have to go I hear the tub draining

It is true I don't post much, I do login almost everday.
I am still quite deep in the closet, and I come or started coming here to find how others dealt with this.
I'll be 66 this year, and it seems my need to wear womens clothes is getting stronger.
My SO's revoltion (sp) is getting more venemous, she thinks it is sick men would want to wear womens panties or anything else for that matter.
Yet she very excepting and understanding of Gay's has some very close friends who are Gay.
Maybe it is the fact that I wear womens panties, while they all very unisex in appearance.
Anyway, Carol Ann I'll try and speak up from time to time.
I would hate to see the forum fade away, there is a lot of nice people here.

Well, not wearing a bra and panties at the moment, but I'll chime in anyway, I guess.
Like Anita, I think I've pretty much exhausted what I had to say about the actual, uh, mechanics of CD'ing; what facinates me are the psychological/emotional underpinnings of crossdressing and the coping mechanisms people have come up with to deal with a sometimes difficult part of their being or of society.
I like to chat, but only when it's one-on-one; attending to multiple conversations in a chat room is something I'm neither good at nor much interested in. I only pop in there infrequently to say hello; part of the reason is that Saturday nights are usually spent with Roxanne, either watching flicks or going out or having dinner with friends.
Also, I've discovered a new forum lately and, as it happens, the newness and freshness of it all (getting to know the regulars, getting a feel for the atmosphere, etc.) means that I'm posting there much more often than I am here. I went to this forum on my brother's invitation and the opportunity to interact more often with my little bro (who lives across the country) is a great boon to me. No, it's not a CD forum and, yes, trolls abound but, after reading only a couple of handfuls of my posts (and participating in an even lesser number of PM exchanges with me), the owner of the site (female) has offered to host a new forum on her server (apparently, she has a lot of space and bandwith) if I were willing to run it and make it my own. I told her about CJ and also about what's happening to our forum here and she said that I can make a new CD/TG forum if I wanted to and invite the membership here to migrate. She'd be totally cool with that. But I told her that it would be premature as, on the one hand, I still have faith that this forum will some day reopen and that, on the other, I'm not equipped right now to administer a forum (for reasons I chose not to get into with her). Still, she left the offer on the table. We'll see.
Finally, much of my time is spent looking for work; aside from the occasional translation contract, my income is almost non-existent. It's putting a massive strain on my relationship with Roxanne and it's bringing me down, too. So my desire to post here has considerably decreased.
As you can see, though, I still pop in anyway on a fairly frequent basis. Just to make sure our little slice of paradise hasn't dwindled into nothingness. I know that Sharon is going through hard times right now so I'm not about to complain (hell, even if she weren't going through hard times, I'm not really the complaining type). So I'm adopting a wait-and-see stance.
I miss a lot of folks here, though. That's a fer-sure.
Love,
CJ

Hi Carol Ann,
Some very good reasons "why" given here.
Perhaps another reason would be:
Any group, church, social organization always has to "grow" to survive!
NO growth equals slow death!
The forum has been "locked" to NEW members for a long time now!???
Thanks...Andrea (WA)

Carol Ann,
I too do not post routinely or often, but it depends on my time I have and also my speed on typing. I do have many thoughts and ideas and comments, but the time is not always there to place them here. I wish to get to know each of my sisters better and also figure out who Erica is better. I am having some internal issues now. I hope be be able to have more time to be Erica and to be able to post here more often. I love chatting with everyone and this has helped me see my feminine side too. I hope this answers some questions you may (or may not ) have.
Thanks for your interest in each of us.
Hugs,
Erica

I'm always wearing a bra and panties, whether I'm here posting or not.
So it seems like there are a lot of people who like to stop by and read the posts, but not so many that feel comfortable posting.
I feel pretty comfortable posting, and occasionally have the time to do it. I guess I don't post as much as I could only because I think most things have been said one way or another, and I don't want to bore everyone.
But I will take this as a personal goal, to post one new subject every week, and try to make it original, witty, insightful, and fun. No small goal, hey??

One of the joys of this forum is the diversity of the members, this means that I feel we can post on almost any topic and find common ground, and sensible comments with other members.
While I like the idea of Ralitsa''a aim of a new subject every week, I might be slightly afraid of post for the sake of posts, but I'm sure you would never get boring.

Just because you don't believe it, that doesn't mean it's not true

I like to respond to items that "grab" me. There is a lot of chatter that just does not interest me enough to respond. If things were abit more controversial, I would sink my teeth into it some more. An example being, I am not interested in what you are wearing, but why you wear it. I came onto this site to gain a deeper understanding as to why I am the way that I am.
So I concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they can. People should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of there labor, for these are gifts from God.
