My wife would like to join the forum. Can she use the same email address that I use or does she have to get her own somewhere. We both usually use the same addy for other things we do on the internet since we only have a dialup connection and AOL as our ISP so only one of us can be on and active at the same time. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi Lauren,
Have your wife send e-mail to Sharon from her own e-mail account explaining why she wants access. Part of the SO area of the site is to have no CD involvement so please let your wife initiate the request instead of you asking for it.
With AOL you have the ability to have multiple screen names so the e-mail address can be there.
We get lots of attempts to spoof us and we're getting better at finding things out, but we're also getting more leery of requests since the SO area is now private.
We have an honor system and we hope all will honor this.
If anyone out there is considering getting an e-mail account for their spouse, but they are actually the spouse, please re-think your request and just don't do it. It's really important that you be truthful with us and it's respectful to the SOs.
Thanks
