Ok, I don't know if this new Veet formula is what we've been looking for, but I used it one week ago and have very little leg hair gowth since. Thats kinda neat, and believe me, I know how it grows. Its in a green bottle with dispenser top....worth trying. Read the insrtuctions because they are different from old Veet. I'm kinda amazed......then again, I get amazed easy

Well, the Veet that I just tried was in a somewhat pink package with a pink and white oval sponge. Now I have not shaved for probably four days or so.
Experiment! I put the stuff on my left forearm and left hand, followed the instructions, no more than six minutes and damn, it worked -- well mostly, I had some few hairs on the outside near the elbow, so I reapplied it and now they are gone!!!!!
Part II. I shaved my right forearm and hand with a Gillette 5 blade and then applied Aveeno lotion to both arms.
The Veet side does have a very, very slight tingle but nothing to be concerned about. The fact that I can now see completely through my arm does have me a bit concerned though -------- JUST KIDDING !!!!!!!!
I will report on the hair return - if any! yeah right!!! in time!
Just follow the directions that come with it!
I am now going to do my legs, and I may even try my chest and well, never mind!!! If you hear a blood-curdling scream you can figure it out!
Love ya,
Virginia

Well, I used it on my legs and my chest and down my center line to my bikini line, kind of a hurried process so I missed a few small areas, but the stuff works!! My legs are as smooth as I can get them shaving, maybe a bit smoother!
The kit comes with a two-sided sponge, and it says you can use your fingers rather than the sponge to apply, but follow the directions after applying!!!!!!!! Very, very, very slippery!!!! so wash your hands with soap!
Now, don't laugh, it worked, I used a dish cleaning utensil after the recommended 6 minutes to gently rub the hair away. I know you have seen these things. It is a plastic tube that you put dish detergent in and it has a triangle shaped rough sponge head (removable when worn). It works like a charm but just don't rub too hard. Then a good dose of skin lotion and you're all set. If you take more time with it than I did you can probably get into every little nook and cranny. One of the hardest places for me to shave is at the base of my sternum - Veet worked great there!!!
The only down side is blade shaving is, on a cost plus comparative basis, probably cheaper. How long the Veet vs. the blade lasts . . . we'll see!

Can say it gave the longest lasting smooth legs Ive ever had. It was sorta pricey but worked great. May save it for a very special occasion when I want to feel ultra femme.
It has been difficult, but I have not shaved either arm, so it has been four days and simply by touch, the Veet arm does seem to be growing more slowly, but it is still growing!
I am like Anne, it does work and it seems to work well in those "hard to get at areas" but on a comparative expense and time basis, I think I will stick to shaving and save the Veet for "special" occassions!
Stay smooth, ladies.

Nothing is perfect of course, but this is the best I've found so far. Plus no stinky odor. I'm not wild about using chemical stuff, but as others mentioned, for a super night out its on with the Veet. Laser on legs is mega expensive and just neck and face is enough for me now, thank you. BTW, special night coming up this week....my first year anniversary with my SO So.....I'll need a gallon of Veet and a quart of body putty (not so bad...its the 150 grit sandpaper that hurts). And for the..ahem..sensitive parts..I swear by the BodyGroom which I posted about earlier. Ya know..its not easy being a girl...but worth it
