Do you need a bra?

Post by Ann Stef »

A good test was to lift your breast up and put a pencil under it crosswise. If the pencil stayed, you need a bra. It worked for me, my wife said I have an A cup, going onto a B cup. (A Playtex nearly B bra would be a fit in their brand.)

I have tried the underwire C cup bras, and found that it makes my bust protrude out since the underwire pushed any fat up into the cup. I almost fit the bra. I don't fit into a non wired bra of the C cup.

With the help of Silicone falsies from One-Haynes-Place, I do fill in either bra for the perfect fit. I think that a C cup is perfect for a 5'9" person at 180 lbs. It proportions the dress to a somewhat hour glass figure.

As we get older, the sagging fat does indeed fill in the bra. One of the advantages of getting older, I suppose.

i just tried and i didn't quite pass the 'test', but for me that is no reason to 'not need' a bra. :P

Bra

Post by Ann Stef »

Unfortunately it did not work for you Lynn. Perhaps as you get older like me, the fat tissues will hold the pencils. However, still wear a bra, it does enhance your figure as well as your well being.

I have small noticeable breast but not large enough to hold a pencil like that.

pencil test

The only way a pencil would stay under my breast is with glue. I just have to be satisfied with the silicone breastforms

Hey ! I passed the "Ann Stef" test with a ball-point pen. Let's see if I can work up to a monkey wrench.

 :haha:

ann, believe me, i am an older gal, too.

i have been taking off extra weight for a while now and have lost some of that loose fat that i used to rely on. but i am happy to trade the extra fat around my breasts for slimmer waist and a smaller dress size!!!

like i said, not needing to wear a bra because of the size of my breasts doesn't mean i don't need to wear a bra as often as i can. you are right about the well being, my mental and emotional well being.

To funny

Yes I am there. I have a chest but not one that could go into a bra for support. I have cleavage because of pectoral muscle not natural fem. Now breast forms may push that peck up and create a natural looking cleavage, I have tried this with my hands and it works well

Now the wife on that test is a different story
I have been out for over a year already WOW!

I do not pass the pencil test. Or according to my wife when I brought a new bra. "I know it is purple, as if you N E E D another bra".

Kimberly,

I think this is so funny. each time I buy A N O T H E R bra, I think the same thing. I gotta have that bra, gotta have that matching set. (Do I need it? absolutely not, I just want the bra!

I had to chuckle over that one!
Huggs,

Carla
