I purposely chose a wig the same grey as my hair. My feeling is that it looks more natural. Nancy doesn't like it, though. She says it makes me look too much like my mother. My real hair is "getting" bald on top.

Many women your age, however, color their hair to hide the gray.Davita wrote:So here's my question. Am I the only girl to think about getting a wig with some grey to be more reflective of my age? I don't think that many women my age are without grey.
Does Grecian Formula color the hair black or does it bring out one's natural pre-gray color?

I have a wig that more or less matches my proportions of grey, but I admit that I prefer the new one that is more blond than my own hair, but still - erm age appropriate. It was commented on the other day "How clever to make a wig that looks like the roots need doing" now that's realism.

My one wig has quite a bit of gray in it. I feel it matches my persona, even though my persona is a girl and not a woman, probably because my biological hair has a lot of gray in it.
I dated a woman for a long time who began to aquire gray hair at the age of 16, although that is a tangential comment.
