Old Fashioned Girdles

My late wife was a pack rat, never throwing anything away. I recently came across some boxes in the basement marked "Personal" in her handwriting. Well she isn't here anymore so I figured why not. Inside were 6 old faashioned open bottom girdles! I had seen these in years and if I had to guess they are from the late 50's or early 60's. Not all of them fit me but two did. I didn't give them much thought but decided today to try one. I grabbde the high-waisted pink one with 6 garters and the hook and eye and zipper closing. Yes it is tight on my waist, ian't that how a good firm girdle should feel, but I feel oh so feminine in it. I love the tug of my support stockings on the garters with every step I take, and believe me they are short ones! If one needs a good feminizing garment try one of these!

Yeah, girdles are great. I've only got a couple. But one of them, a playtex, is one of my favourite things to wear.

Oh I love them also as I grew up in the early 50's and thats what you used to hold up your stockings as PH were not invented yet.

I love them as well. I have two boned, hook & eye, side zip. One is OBG. Bought them on line. Not cheap! 4 light girdles and a Playtex latex model which I found on E-bay. The only time I can wear some is in the winter because of the heat and humity down here.The light ones come in handy when tucking. As has been said they really help to make you feel more fem.

Hmmm I love them... The look fit n feel! And if they have those satin front n rear panels all the better. I love the retro pin-up style look and a OBG worn with my classic FF/RHT stockings are perfect!

Same here as my mothers always wore her girdles. They were the first item I ever wore to hook-up my mothers stockings I also had a passion for. You talk about hands shaking the first time I ever tried to fasten those stocking welts to those six garters, and the first time experiencing of that compression feeling with those short garters tugging on the stocking welts with each step...oh my.

And of course I always would put on my mothers nylons first as I loved that swish feel of the girdle sliding up over the nylon covered legs. I have to say that satin front panel on the way up and over ones youth of excitement was...well dangerous!:) By the time all the garters were hooked and I slipped into my mothers highest stiletto heels, sometimes I would never make it if you understand.....So those darn OBG still are one of my first loves!

i agree girls the feel of wearing a girdle is intoxicating
love the constrictive nature and the definition it tries to create.
now even when under dressed i do wear a waist cincher and would wear a long line one(from breasts to leg) if it wouldn't be so difficult to undo when relieving myself!

Anya, I never tried a waist cincher. Do they feel as good as a girdle?

no! but does feel constrictive and pulls ur waist in some what
not quite the job of a corset but does confine to a degree!
next to try is a full body one and a long leg one!

Gosh. This takes me back to my teens and Mum's roll on girdle with suspenders. I must get one and try again.
