Yet another online gender identity test.

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Yet another online gender identity test.

Post by Kelly »

I don't think any of these are scientifically reliable; but I find them fun. This one can be done is less than five min.

Oh, by the way I'm 53/56 percent male/female or they clinically dub me Undifferentiated-Androgynous. Boarrrrring :)

My percentages of masculine/feminine added up to 119%. I was deemed "Casually Masculine." Is that a fancy way of saying I can be a tomboy when I want to be? I think my "title" really should be "cold hearted B**ch," but I'm guessing whoever came up with the characterizations was too busy with funny math to get the characterizations titled more accurately.

And yeppers, Kelly. It was interesting at least. Thanks :)

My percentages came up to 122% Davita and I too am undifferentiated androgynous.

Like most of these this test is based on 1950 stereotypes. What bothers me is too many girls see these types of tests online and assume they are gospel and running to find a surgeon.

33% masculine - 75% feminine, they can not add or do math that is for sure.

Masculine: Low
Feminine: High
This makes you Typically Feminine

It was an interesting test. And I agree it is just a test. I have taken several of them and they are all over the middle of the spectrum for me. From the above to the opposite. But always in the middle somewhere never been on the ends of the spectrum. I just consider them something fun to do, definitely not scientific.

No doubt! I got 28% Masculine, 69% Feminine... What happened to the remaining 3%!?!?!

Either way... this makes me typically feminine.

I understand that this is just for giggles... and a good way to spend a few minutes. Besides, I think these quizzes are fun to do!

28% masculine 58% feminine. The other 14% got bored and went off to make a cup of tea. Apparently I'm "casually feminine".

Hi.

feminie 89 % masculine 31 %. and really not to far off the mark

I am female 98 % masculine 20 % in real life and that's how it is for myself ,

I do have a strong masculine side and that's part of my makeup and with out that, I doubt youd ever have seen any writings from this kid
I know I,m female and could not live with out my male aspects and that was from age 10 . I know other women who are little different from me and I,v worked with them some I found to be very strong minded as I am and that does not make you male or female its with in our makeup and each one is different ,

of cause theres more to a person that is not seen and how one reacts to some details can not be shown in a test, any way a bit of fun.

These types of online tests are dangerous and can cause mush more harm than good. As Diana pointed out so correctly this tests is based on 1950 stereotypes of the meek, obedient female. If you don't believe me take the test twice, once leaning toward the "traditional" female role, the other leaning to the "traditional" male role and you will understand what I am saying.

As long as one understands these are far from scientific and treat them as fun they are fine. Please if you are considering transition, living 24/7, or any other change in lifestyle based on gender seek proper help starting with gender therapy and follow the tired and true methods before you regret something.

Your personality is:

Your scores:

Masculine: Average
Feminine: High
This makes you Undifferentiated-Androgynous
72% Feminine, 64% Masculine

But I wonder how someone who knows me well would score me? Psychology is subjective, and the questions...are subjective and though I tried to really consider and answer what I believed to be true...my responses may change with time or with my mood... I really did not expect 72%! I really thought I would come out more masculine or balanced...hum not sure this so called valid test is really? but then again...I answered correctly I believe...interesting.
Gee maybe I need to go put my dress on...

Probably will ha!

72%-64%= a difference of 8....68 if subtract 4...add 4. But I suppose they are scoring your feminine side and your masculine side at the same time. I suppose if you come out as 90% masculine and 10% feminine you would be very much to the masculine side within the cis realm....so....undifferentiated androgenous....I really can see that in myself. See some here adding the scores up...ok...136! There are a lot of comments about the scores not adding up...they are not supposed to. They are testing separately for each aspect...Feminine...and Masculine they are not supposed to add up. They are testing where you are on both ends of the gender spectrum.

I am rather strong on many or most of these, all the way on many...yet I know many of my responses were mild to moderate with very few to the weak side yet none were 100% disagree.... I believe my responses are or were accurate, so if the test has been found to be valid...is what it is. I mean gee whiz I wear dresses and make up and wear forms in a bra! I like and am comfortable with it all and I have been like this my entire life...yeah...that would back up the results I got....After years and years of analyzing myself and years of deep deep thought from varying perspectives and moods...I myself have determined that I am gender expansive or gender fluid for crying out loud. But I believed I was mostly on the male side.

In another post this morning I wrote this:

I am probably more on my masculine side more than on my feminine side (with the ingrained restraint nearly 60 years of having to hide it all I am not sure I will ever figure out If I am as feminine as masculine or more feminine than masculine)

Well...I may have just found an objective answer to that question...meaning my ingrained restraint to hold my gender back or in and to hide it even home alone with no one expected...does hide even from myself the fact that if all things were equal I would probably spend more time in dresses or other women's clothing slightly more of the time because that is where I am.

I always felt I was or must be a rather moderate male...a gentleman, rather mild and sensitive and caring even though my personality is strong in other respects....

I believe it's a rather good test.

---------------------
I agree these tests, psychology itself uses questions the answers to which require you to subjectively guess...never in my mind very accurate...how they determine if such a tool is truly valid I have no clue.

I would not use this test as anything more than interesting and perhaps as yet one more data point to pair with what you know about who you are as a person...or as a bit of fun...BUT! If you pair the results with what you already know about who you are....you can see there is some validity to it.

You always need cross checks as in solving math problems you always do a few different checks to make sure you get the same answer you arrived at.

Still, I agree 100% I for one am definitely not a candidate for SRS and this test does not replace an experienced gender therapist team over a long enough time to make such a determination. Cut off Mr. Happy and all you will get back is Mr. Sad with an artificial means to pump him up! and that after thousands of dollars spent on a huge mistaken notion about yourself.

I also read lately post op's stating....that they now realized having hooters and a kooter in no way solved any of their problems with their mental difficulties...it only resulted in their physical body now resembling externally that of genetic women and nothing more.

So if you would be truly happier with a body very like genetic women...that is one thing and that is certainly absolutely wonderful if true. But that must be paired with a deep deep deep understanding of exactly who you are inside that brain of yours...it took me years to figure that out to my 100% satisfaction that I do indeed know who I am with full and unshakable self assurance.

One more data point...I am a retired RN! still have an active license....Curious isn't it that I went into what is roundly considered by the general public to be a "Woman's profession."

I started to take this test and after about 5 questions I could see where it was going. It is all based on the subservient housewife versus her go getter husband. Like I said I only went through a few questions but the traits I saw listed are not masculine or feminine but rather human not limited to gender. These types of tests do nothing but put warped visions into people's heads or are used to reinforce the should have been long buried stereotypes.
