For weeks now I have watched him crucify me on this site.
My question to you is...can my side be heard?

Hi kimmie,

I would certainly hope so, and I hope you don't feel that we are against you. (especially speaking for myself.) Keep in mind though I am not interested in hurting anyone, that is in tearing one down. But instead attempting to build one up. I have been one of Elizabeth's strong supporters and will continue to be one as long as I feel that she is trying to improve. I am aware of some of Elisabeth's weaknesses and in fact brought some them to light.

I have tried to encourage her not to do anything which is meant to cause you pain, and I hope that is not your intent. If that is your intent I would encourage Elizabeth not to participate in this kind of activity, as to not add any more fuel to the fire.

Now having said that I realize that it takes two to tangle and no one is perfect. You are welcome to present your side, and receive support from those here who are gifted in that area, and I hope you can do that. That is what this site is about.

Hi Kimmie,

Welcome to the forum. Yes we can hear your side.

All I ask is that you not get upset about Elizabeth's responses and that this not turn into a session where people flame each other online while doing so.

The board is honestly for support and I can tell you I don't feel Elizabeth said anything that was mean about you. Elizabeth just explained where she thought you were. I don't feel her statement made you a bad person in most of our eyes.

So again, yes you are free to speak here, with only the guidelines above.

Hi Kimmie,

Most definitely!!! We are not here to take sides but to listen and help when we can...

I just made a post a little while ago to Bubbles and told her about the same thing...

Let me make one point to both elizabeth and kimmie...

We are all human.
We all mess up, sometimes severly, in life.
We try to make ammends when we have the balls to admit to others that we did wrong.
Sometimes the things done are too bad to be forgiveable in the mind of the hurt one.
Many times we all want to lash out at those that hurt us in an effort to not be the only one that has been hurt.

Sometimes it takes telling and hearing both sides to a third party to realize where you went wrong.
It's impossible to know the reality unless both sides tell you their prespective.

Look at this as an opportunity not to see bashing, but rather an oportunity to see the opposite side of things in a new light.

Now, with those little facts of life mentioned, let me say a couple things to both of you...

From what I have seen, elizabeth has attempted (she's human, and humans DO tend to leak emotions of anger and hurt into their words) to keep her story as factual, and non-personal as is possible. I also relize that what you two are going through is VERY tough emotionally and physically, so slipups are bound to happen. Just say "OOPS!", apologise, and move on. :)

I don't know you, so I don't know how you will say things. I can only give you the benifit of the doubt, no matter what past opinions may have formed subconciously, and be willing to take you at face value, for you too are hman.

What I can promise you is this. The vast majority (if not every single person here) will do their utmost to not pre-judge you as long as you present things in a factual, civil way, or in a non-attacking expression of self opinion. :)

You won't get bashed (our wonderful admins are DARN good at preventing that sort of thing) no matter who it is that did the bashing. (yeah, I got busted for a slipup a while back. ) People here seem to like me pretty well. So if I got an admin-smackdown for my bad behavior, you can be guaranteed a safe environment to express your side of things as long as you keep it adult like.

So, I wish you well and welcome you to the forum as a member. :)

Hiya,

Like Ahzz just said, we all make mistakes, I now during my early years I was a right naughty kid, prolly actually because of the inner confusion and frustration I guess :)

I just hope like Beauty said it doesn't turn into a fight thread, but I'm sure the Doctor and Nurse will make an apperance if that happens :) I'm still waiting for the nurse to massarge my neck lol

Hi Kimmie,
YES, we would like to hear your side of the story as well! Some of us, Moi - virginia) are currently in the throws of a divorce as well, but for (I guess) different reasons! But given the basic premise, it can be helpful to others to see that there are two sides to every relationship! Tell us your side of this.
Love,
Virginia

Hi Kimmie, You most certainly have your say, this is an open forum.

Everyone else pretty much said everything, the only thing i would add is, when people are angry things are said, sometimes nasty things because they are in pain. I would like to here you to understand more. I really don't know what to say than I feel sorry for both you and Liz, it is rough, especially when children are involved. I do wish you both can work things out in person or in private, and not in a shouting match here, although the people here are of good stock and would not take sides, they would help.

I feel for you Kimmie and Liz

Love Amelie
