Well girls, its late Monday night and I have my wife back home!!!! She will have to be watched 24/7 but I can handle that, I am just glad she is home. The virus is being attacked with all kinds of antibotics and a home health crew is coming in the morning to help set up the IV's and train me on how to administer the medicine. I hope she will completely recover. Once in a while she says some 'inappropriate" things, but her attitude is so much better.
Thanks again girls for all your love and support, I will never forget the kindness and support that you have given me, you are fantastic people all of you!!! I am so fortunate to have you girl friends!
Love you all!!!!!!

Virginia,
Your innner strength is a true inspiration to me. And not just now, but all the time. You are part of what makes this place so special. I send you my hopes that your wife will have a full and speedy recovery. And that you will find the contentment and inner peace you seek. I love you sister.
Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Girls!!
Not to drag this out but it is shall I say, interesting, to administer the IV's. The hospital attached a "semi-permanent" IV tube to her arm and they now have IVs that are "self-administrating" it is a softball size rubber bladder with a twist type attachment and it takes each IV about an hour and a half to drain and I give her two, twice a day. She also has six different sets of pills that go along with the IV's at various amounts and times during the day, so once I get the schedule down, it will be Dr. Virginia! I don't think she could handle me wearing a nurse's uniform, but the thought did enter my mind! I may discuss it with her -----NOT!!!
Anyway the treatments go on until December 3 then we go back to have another MRI on December 13 to make sure the swelling has gone away!
Love you girls soso much!

"Once more into the breech!" and "half a league, half a league, half a league onward into the valley of death rode the 600." Uh, "Charge of the Light Brigade."
Anyway Had to take my wife back to University of Virgina Hospital yesterday. Got ot the ER at 6:30pm did not get to see anyone until about 9:30pm. Then we were in there for about another 3 -4 hours. Anyway the bottom line is that she has had a reaction to some or a combination of the medications she was taking and hoping not ot have a regression I took her back and she was admitted and they are attempting to adjust the medicines.
Our local "support group" is having there Christmas dinner Saturday at one of the member's home on the lake and I want to go sooooo bad, I hope I can make it, but wife comes first. Anyway, just and update and thanks again for your concern, prayers and love!
