Glasses

Post by Teilani »

I don't know about ya'll, but I wear glasses. I don't wear contacts because I have this thing about having to touch my eyes. They are just a simple pair of mens wire frame glasses. When I'm dressed, the glasses don't look half bad with everything else and they seem to work fine. But I was thinking, if any of you wear glasses, do you wear them when dressed, and do they fit in with everything else.

Also, I thought about buying a special pair of prescription girl glasses. Something like Lisa Loeb wears. Do any of you have a special pair of glasses that you use only when dressed?

I have seen a cheap pair that I have intentions of purchasing. I have been looking for some for a long time.

Happy New Year,
Love Darlene.

My wife asked me this question the other day. I have been thinking about getting a pair of fem glasses.
I was intending to grind down an old pair of lenses to fit some cheap frames, but couldn't find my old lenses.

I don't believe any place that furnishes glasses will deny the request for fem frames, and some places have special "2/for" sales.

There would be some value in reconsidering contacts.  Talk with your ophthalmologist about putting them in and removing them properly.  You do not have to have any direct contact between your finger and your eye, and the pressure is very gentle — almost nonexistent.  Wearing men’s glasses while en femme is undeniably less satisfactory than wearing men’s contacts while en femme!
Take care,

I'm due for new glasses in June and have already picked out frames for both my regular glasses and rx sunglasses. I'm full time with a soft androgynous look so my options are pretty open. Both frames are by Chanel and if you have an optician that offers that line in your area, it's worth it to give them a look (pardon the pun). A bit pricey but nice. For regualr wear, replacing some very androgynous Anne Klein's, will be rimless Chanel's with a slightly pink tint to the lenses and the mounting screws in the temples will have stones in the interlocked CC logo. For sunglasses, I'm going with the big black "Jackie O" style that's in fashion again

When I got a new prescription, I went to a local "bargain" eyeglass store and had an inexpensive pair of femme glasses made. I think it makes a real difference in my ability to pass.

Funny enough... the glasses I'm wearing in this pic are... my mom's! She came to visit once and forgot one pair of her glasses. And even though she has hyperopia(far sighted) and I have myopia(shor sighted)... they worked for me!

However, after that, when I have got frames, I have got styles that work well both ways.

My eyes are horrible >_<
I have 200/200 vision I think... (Maybe that is 20/200 in each eye? I dont know)
atleast that is what my licence says
I think that the best thing to do in find a nice feminine pair of frames that fit your figure
I love doing that to my parent

"Do you like these? *super masculine pair*"
"Or these? *feminine pair*"

Its great for a laugh
My mom always says the feminine pair are cute and my dad just glare
lol
