A Question About Eyebrows

Post by Joselle »

Hi Ladies

I've recently been plucking my eyebrows trying to get them shaped into a more pleasing appearance. My only problem is that they are much too dark.
I have ash blond hair and my eyebrows except for a few gray ones are almost jet black and the two just don't complement each other. My wife suggested I dab hydrogen peroxide on them with a Q-Tip. Has anyone tried this method and if so how long does it take to lighten them up? Does anyone know of any other method?

Thanks

I've not had any luck with the hydrogen peroxide sold as an atiseptic. I contains only a 3% solution of peroxide.

Sally Hansen, and maybe others, do hair bleaching products at cosmetic stores. They probably contain hydrogen peroxide at a much higher percentage.

Hi Donna

Thanks you so much for the links Donna. I think I will go for the Sally Hansen Extra Strength Cream Hair Bleach.

Hugs

Hi Joselle,
I am so happy that your wife seems to support you in this. I hope you read one of my previous posts (and there are exceptions and evidently you fall into that category) and a lot of us are jealous. Seveal months ago there was a thread about SO'S/GG's accepting various aspects of crossdressing. The one item that got the most criticism and concern from the SO's and GG's were our shaping our eyebrows. Seems that they can put up with pierced ears, shaped nails, etc., but eyebrows seemed to really be a concern. I am glad to hear your SO seems OK with it. I, for one would be interested in hearing more about it!
