Razer Burn

Post by Jessie »

I am wondering if anyone can help me with what to do about stopping the pain I get when I use my electric razer and some times my wet one. My face feels like it is burning thuse the term I figure Razer Burn. I know some have suggested laser but that is out of price right now.

Hi Jessie

This page has all kinds of tips on how to prevent razor burn on your face as well as your legs. http://www.ehow.com/tips_2144.html
Another thing you might want to consider is a metal allergy. You just may be allergic to the metal heads on your electric razor. I shaved for years with electrics and my face was always red and burning and breaking out. Now I use a good quality shaving gel and Gilette blades on my face and have no problems. For the legs I use a shaving gel called Satin Care and a good quality ladies shaver and a moisturizer after shaving.

Have you tried using a Pre-Electric Shave Lotion?

Also, afterwards try "TendSkin" http://www.tendskin-distributor.com/

My wife got me started on Clinique's aftershave. I am hooked, it's the best I've used.

I have never been able to use electric razors. I get burn and ingrown hairs every time.
The best thing I have found for a close, pain free shave is the Mach 3 that vibrates. It is amazing, and no razor burn!
Wow, I love this place.
Thanks
