My desire to share some news

I usually do not like to endorse any particular product, as others may have opinions that do not agree with mine. That's good and healthy in this world.

Many of you know that Mary Kay Cosmetics are of a high quality and quite a bit expensive for most of us. In the time I have ever purchased cosmetics, I have only bought 3 M-K items, and they were from eBay; a lipstick (Fuschia shade) a liquid foundation, and a stick blush.

Well, it turns out a great variety of their Signature collection of lipsticks have been discontinued. These are the kind that usually sells for $12 each. Well, in recently searching on eBay, I have found some of the M-K dealers are moving these on eBay auction for as little as 99 cents + shipping each.

I picked up a brand new M-K Signature shade, Magenta, which is listed as a cool just under my favorite of Fushcia in their picture of shades.

Again, I do not want to violate any special protocol over a product endorsement, and for sure I am not a Mary Kay consultant. I just want to pass along this bargain to anyone who loves products like M-K, but cannot always afford the $$$$$ for them.

Hi Leilah,
I have some M-K lotion that is for your face and it is wonderful. I think they make a very good product. One of our sisters posted several months ago that manufactuers, like M-K who sell directly to women have to make a good product in order to stay in business, especially when their reps have to face their "clients" so often. Women will flat tell you if something they have tried works or not and if it doesn't not only will they not buy it again, they will tell all thieir friends not to use it!

There's no problem with endorsing a particular product if you like it. Heck, I've endorsed Aveeno, L'Oreal, CoverGirl, etc.

That's one of the nice things about these types of forums, there are others that have tried products that some may not have heard of, or have thought about but didn't want to spend the money to find it was no good, etc.

And letting others know about specail sales and such is also a big help to many.
