Outloook Question - Answered

Post by Gelinda »

Beauty: I know I would like to see the name that posts in my Outlook program did not show Crossdressers-forum when a message posts there. I can open my personal email address at work do to this. If it was CD-forum or almost anything else would allow me to open my personal mail at work. Thanks Gee.

Hi Gelinda,

I don't understand what you are asking? :?

You would like to see the person's name that posts in your Outlook program did not show cd-f (short version) when a message posts on the forum?

If that's what you're asking, I'll look into it, but I'm not sure it would be happening anytime soon. :( Are you saying you don't access your mail at work because you can't get it in an e-mail client?

What do you mean you can open your personal e-mail address at work to do this?

How would the rename CD-Forum or almost anything else allow you to open your personal e-mail at work? Because you could configure an e-mail client to receive e-mail at your office and not worry about the header being so revealing?

Hi Beauty: When I Have replied to a thread in the forum. From then on when someone else replies to that thread I get a message in my inbox of microsoft Outlook. I like getting the messages so that I know what is going on but I am afraid to look at my own personal email account at work. Because it says" crossdresser-forum" amd then tells me which thread has a new message. was wondering if the name of the message sent out to me and others could be something else "CD_forum_ or something ot the like. Gee.

Hi Gelinda,

We can probably to do that, but I don't think it's a good idea to ever retrieve e-mail through a mail client at work, unless you're out, even if the header was changed. I doubt we'll do it anytime soon though. :?

I would suggest you either wait until you get home to read the responses or register for an aim.aol.com or yahoo account (or any free e-mail account) that can be read through a web browser. There's no guarantee you're safe from admins reading your e-mail, but it's sure a lot safer than having e-mail download on your PC at work.
