Need advice about Cover Girl Cosmestics or opinions

Post by Judy W »

I need your girls on Cover Girl cosmetics, for I see some stores are having a sale on Cover Girl cosmetics, I need to know whether to buy them and if you have any ideas about the quality and what I should buy and look out for? Thanks.

Westfield, NJ??? Holy cow wonder how many times we passed each other! Ok 10 years ago. Back to the topic....some girls I know like cover girl...but if its for your basic ..ummm...beard cover..no go. Dermablend or Mehrons tatoo cover is the best for that...then any foundation over...no foundation by itself can do what we want.

I guess no foundation is perfect. Dermablend does cover beard but the only caveat is that it can crack and give that "caked" or dried out look which would negate it a bit.

Jessie that is so cute! True but cute too. What I will say is this, first, you all know "you get what you pay for." Second, cover girl is such a prevalent make-up because of it very essence, it is probably the cheapest brand name on the market. It does work for GG's and as a budgetary aspect it is acceptable.
For us that struggle to cover beard, age spots, blemishes, I think you have to go up the make-up ladder several rungs and pay the higher price for the better grade - if you will! Read you better fashion magazines and try some of the more expensive grades and you will find you will like them better, just my findings anyway!
