Hiya!
Well, now I'm a part of this forum. I already know some of the folks in this place - Hi DonnaT! - and I suspect it will be fairly easy to get addicted to this place.
For those who don't know me, I'm a crossdresser and have been for essentially my entire life. I've been married for 21 years and have a 7 year old daughter. My wife is fairly hostile toward my crossdressing, and my daughter knows nothing of it. I'm somewhat "out", and occasionally go out en femme.
Guess that's enough of a starting point. I look forward to posting with everyone on the forums!!!!!!!

It's unfortunate that your SO is so against you, but that's not uncommon, either. May I ask - - did she know about Stephanie before you were married, or is her knowing fairly recent?

My wife Tracy (not her real name) knew before we were engaged. That was in 1983, and there wasn't much available information at the time. I thought I could quit crossdressing. Neither of us understood what crossdressing would do with our lives as a married couple. It's been quite an experience. ^_^

Dressing and acting one's age... I figure that since I'm in my late 40s, I shouldn't try to dress as if I'm just into my 20s. ^_^ I will say, however, that November 21, 2005, was an extraordinary day for me. I was grocery shopping, and was carded for buying beer. No joke.

If you know Donna, ask her to bring you with her to one of our road trips to Fielden's in Richmond. The first Friday of every month is T-Girl night and you can meet some really terrific ladies from around the state! Next time is March 3rd. You have to know however that it does not start until 11:00pm. If you can or are interested, let us know and we will give you more details!

Hi Virginia! Thanks for the offer! Friday nights are generally really bad as I work Saturdays. I have a shifted schedule so that we can raise our daughter w/o outside child care. That Friday is particularly bad, as my daugher has an academic event the next day. All those things said, perhaps we can still try to get together sometime.
