Hello!
Hello everyone! My name is Laycee. I am a happily married closet crossdresser. I have been dressing on and off since I was about 8 years old. I am very happy being born and raised as a male and would not change that for the world. I do however, very much enjoy being in touch with my feminine side.
One of my goals is to gain the strength and confidence to share this secret with my wife, who so far has been supportive of my other "quircks" as she calls them.
I look forward to all and any advice and support I may receive from this site.

Hi, Laycee - - Welcome to our wonderful forum!!
Patience, love, and understanding will be needed when you finally do come out of the closet and let your wife know about Laycee. Some of the other members will be able to tell you about various books that helped them when they 'came out' to their SO's. You didn't say - are there any children?
Your wife will be a welcome member here, too. There are quite a few active SO's here, and a section solely for my fellow GG's - which might be of help to your wife.
We look forward to hearing more about you, so make yourself at home!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I knew from reading other posts that this was going to be one of those sites that eagerly displays the friendliest side of the internet anyone could hope for. I can't wait to be able to actually sit down and post more about me.
And believe it or not, there is a new smile on my face since i've registered...kinda like this one ---->

Hi Laycee,
Welcome to the forum! I'm married to a CDer who came out to me a couple of years after we married, so you are welcome to ask any questions with how we handled it. I wasn't upset or horrified to find out, though it did raise issues with me, that have since been dealt with. I hope I can be of some help to you, just ask!
love,
Curly

Hi Laycee,
Welcome to the forum. This is such a wonderful and diverse group. The best the world has to offer, IMHO. I hope you find the strength to share your secret with your spouse.
Hugs,
Kyra

Laycee,
This is probably not the proper place on the forum to begin the lecture. but I do want to welcome you to the fourm and hope you can find the answers that you will need as you take this beautiful "magical Mystery Tour!"
A lot of your sisters here have the "been there done that!" syndrom and the wealth of experience here is something you could not find in any "shrink's" office anywhere I can assure you. My sisters here offer real life experiences and they varisations are as limitless as the girls here. So ask! Read the responses and find what works for you and your SO.
I will say this - more and more medical evidence is surfacing that "we are born this way!" Ain't nuttin we can do about it. That being said the "strength" in which it manifests itself in each of us can vary to the point that some of us can repress it or supress it until we reach room temperature! Others, it blossoms and - I know in Virginia's situation it is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to her!
Stay, sit, learn, contribute, it will make your life much more meaningful and beautiful!

I hope you don't mind me commenting on this remark but I thought it might be helpful for you to know that, as a wife of a CDer, I'm unhappy with the 'other person' aspect! As you are thinking of telling your wife it might be better to avoid giving the idea that there is 'another person' in your relationship! She may accept it better that she sees Laycee is still you, the person she loves. If you 'introduce' Laycee she may well be freaked out by a stranger suddenly being added to your marriage. I would emphasise that Laycee is you. Maybe don't even mention the name to start with, and always speak from 'I' not from the third person.I know it doesn't seem like much but I am not close enough to introduce Laycee to her and she is far from meeting Laycee herself
